Update: After posting this review, a lead nurse practitioner reached out to me personally. She acknowledged that the earlier communication had been confusing, took the time to review my situation properly, and helped resolve the issues with my treatment. I really appreciated the accountability and the effort to make things right. I had a very confusing and unprofessional experience with Wisp. I primarily wanted ondansetron (Zofran) for nausea, and separately selected the period-delay option because I thought having norethindrone on hand might be useful in the future. The provider declined the ondansetron request and said my symptoms required in-person evaluation. In that same response, they also explained that norethindrone was not appropriate for treating the heavy/painful bleeding described in my intake. Despite that, norethindrone was then prescribed and shipped. Clinical support later told me in writing that I “was not approved for both treatments but the norethindrone was still shipped” and advised me to speak with my doctor before using it. After that, customer service contradicted this and said the medication had been “reviewed and approved by the provider.” My issue is not that a provider declined a medication. My issue is that Wisp gave me multiple contradictory explanations about whether another prescription was actually approved, yet still dispensed and shipped it. When prescriptions are involved, that level of inconsistency is unacceptable. I ultimately asked them to close my account because I no longer trust their process.
