This company is a huge scam
This company is a huge scam, they talk a great game while they are selling you the move but when it comes time to actually move....you get rude movers who break your stuff in front of your face and when asked what happened the movers rudely said "just add it to your claim". Helix Movers and Storage destroyed thousands of dollars of my belongings, some things vanished all together with no explanation. They refused to take many of my items that Helix moving and storage clearly marked "casa" into my new place. When I asked the 4 movers to bring what was left in the truck marked casa inside, the main guy said I could choose three items to bring in the house and if I wanted any more they were going to leave all of my belongings in the front yard and not bring them to storage as was planned, discussed and paid for. And they meant it, he brought three more items into the house. Did not put them where they belonged and left me at my house moving my own stuff while they drove to my storage unit and sat doing nothing, getting paid In closing I want everybody to know that they do not honor their own contract which states 40 cents on the pound. 40 cents on the pound is nothing and helix lmoving and storage would not even honor that! They said I should take them to court when asked why they were not honoring their own contract. They never even finished the job but charged an additional 2 hours after they left when it only takes 1 hour to get back and they had me pay before they were finished when I was told and it's in the contract that payment will be taken after the move is complete. They destroyed so many items and pieces of very expensive furniture with their carelessness and some items never made it to my place.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration, particularly regarding the reported damages and your interaction with the crew. This is not the experience we want any customer to have, and concerns regarding crew conduct are taken seriously. We do want to clarify two points mentioned in the review. Our standard valuation protection is $0.60 per pound per article, not $0.40, and claims are handled according to the valuation option selected for the move. Additionally, our policy requires the remaining balance to be paid prior to unloading the truck, not after the move has been fully completed. "DEPOSIT AND PAYMENTS: A deposit of approximately 20-25% is required to secure your move booking (via credit or debit card, or Zelle, NO AMEX) and will be deducted from the final bill. The remaining balance is due before the truck is unloaded." We understand that these clarifications do not change your disappointment with the move. We regret that the experience fell short of expectations and will review the concerns raised regarding the crew and handling of your belongings internally.
