Helen's GemsReviews of helens-gems.com

This doesn't even deserve 1 star. The jewelry does NOT look like the website pictures. It is greatly enhanced to look much better than what I received. I had to look at the website to see if they even sent the correct items that I ordered, because there was such a huge difference in the appearance. I asked for a refund, and they are telling me to keep everything and they are trying to only give me a 30% refund, then a 50% refund and now a 70% refund which they have not even issued and no longer respond to emails. That should tell you what this crap is NOT worth. Leaving a message at the "Utah" phone number is useless. No one ever answers or returns the calls. There is no such place as Helen's Gems in Cedar City, UT, and no such person as Helen. This is just another total scam from China. This stuff shipped from Hong Kong, not the US, but they are telling me I would have to pay an exorbitant shipping fee to return everything to POLAND and wait months to get a refund "if the return is satisfactory"!!! Such a scam!

Total scam. Their website make claims that are completely FLASE. My order was shipped from Hong Kong, and my credit card was charged by a company there, even though they say they're based in the "Southwest" region in the country. (I read every words on their website and saved their pages) I haven't opened the package yet, but I doubt the items are handcrafted as advertised. The "small studio" they talk about is NOT real, and there’s no sign of it closing. They promise "no questions asked" returns and exchanges, even on sale items, but that’s not true. Upon my request to return the unopened items, they asked me to donate them to a charity in Poland instead, and I have to pay for the return postage (which stated in their return policy). I asked for a US address as they claimed to be a US-based small business, but they stopped replying to me. PLEASE REPORT THIS to the authorities so they're going out of business for real.

They are extremely worthless and of poor quality. This person is a fraud and a charlatan who deceives people, selling a necklace that might not even be worth one dollar for over $39, claiming that she is having a clearance sale because she wants to close her store after many years. Unfortunately, I was badly tricked and fell into the trap of this junk. Be careful not to fall into the trap of this person or others like her.”

Terrible jewelry. I was scammed. I'm trying to get my money back.

This is indeed a scam. I made one of the rings on the website that is for sale. I sold it in 2021 on ETSY for $3900 and it's listed $33.95. So they steal pictures off the internet and sell it. Guarantee you never get the product or your money back.

Ordered several pieces of jewelry. Was shocked at the horrible quality of the items. They were not hand made items, made in a shop, by the person shown on the site. When contacted about getting a refund, was offered a 30% discount to buy more junk. Declined. Then the offer went up to 50% off to buy more junk. Declined. Then was told it could cost up to $50 to send my items in for a refund because I'd be shipping them to Poland, yes Poland!!! The site clearly states that there is a "no questions asked" refund policy for the first 30 days. Not so. Actually this site is just ripping off a legit site "Helens Gems and Jewelry". When doing a search for HG&J you end up at HG. Then they got you, if you don't notice that you've been tricked into the wrong site. Still trying to get a refund. Do yourself a favor and do not patronize Helens Gems. Total ripoff.

This company is a total sham . I reached out in advance of purchase to see if I could return the items if I wasn't satisfied since the store is supposedly closing. "Jessy," told me that I could return them without issue since there is no closing date at this time. I was not satisfied with the items upon receipt and sent an email requesting instructions for the return process. Over the course of several emails, Jessy provided options other than return, such as a percentage off of additional items. I repeatedly said I wished to return the rings and asked for directions to do so. Jessy finally told me that the rings would have to be returned to Poland, where they source their materials and would have to be done at "significant cost." No where on the website does it say anything about having to return items to Poland! I have filed a complaint with the Utah Consumer Board of Protection and so should you if you've experienced the same thing.

This is not a US based company nor is it handcrafted by a little old lady in the US. This is a dropping shipping farm posing as a little old lady that is closing her business to lure unsuspecting victims to bait and switch fraud.
