I bought the con story
I bought the con story about her handcrafted retirement sale.....my products arrived after Christmas,20 days after I ordered...packaged items say made in china....the opal stone earrings were plastic and hideous! What a scam!

I'm not sure if I was scammed
I'm not sure if I was scammed, but what I received was not the same quality as advertised in the pictures; they were poor-quality takeoffs, is my guess; the necklace is so misaligned it is not possible to wear it. I would not buy from this website

HORRIBLE
CANNOT REACH CUSTOMER SERVICE TO REQUEST A REFUND. Check the BBB rating for this company and you will run away from it. Poor quality products and totally bait and switch! I have reported it to the Better Business Bureau. UPDATE: the Customer Service staff listed at the email below answered and confirmed they are the correct company and they have a record of my order. This was a relief since for a moment I thought I had been spoofed. They stated they do not take returns as they are closing the business but they are offering to send me another item of equal value.

This is a complete scam
This is a complete scam. They have a nice website with lovely photos so the assumption is you are buying good products. The items are cheap and have clearly been bought from a 2 dollar type shop. And they give you good discounts using the excuse of a 'closing down sale'. Please do not fall for it.

Ring took a long time to arrive and is ok but not the greatest. Have a feeling this may well have come from China and that the company is a scam. Would not recommend ordering from them.

Stay well away from this site.
I received this order today having ordered the items on Dec 5th. They are absolute rubbish - the cheapest of cheap shiny metal and poorly made. Honestly, I can’t even explain how cheap they look. Like another reviewer I fell for the sob story of having to close the business after years of doing something she loves. I just can’t believe that I was taken in.

Despite repeated requests I still have…
Despite repeated requests I still have not received my order. Is this site a scam ? I have now received the order despite the response from Helen’s Gems. Value for money extremely poor and quality of goods not what was expected. I would like a full refund and do not want to incur any further cost either in postage or insurance costs. I await a response from Helen’s Gems as I have contacted them separately.

Absolute cheap rubbish
Absolute cheap rubbish. Helen's Gems, also known as Mary's Gems (same products, slightly different elderly woman having to close her craft business because she can't compete with the nasty big multinational companies). Not a closing down sale, but a great way to sell poor quality products!! Now saying it's a copycat site, which is also untrue as they have confirmed delivery. Just don't want to take responsibility - no surprise there
