I have had a very similar experience to another poster I saw here. I ordered the original Heatbit last fall, loving the idea of mining a little bitcoin while heating the house in the winter. Everything was going well, good communications, etc and all looked good. Then they announced an updated version, more efficiency, higher hash rate, but a delayed release. I was given the option to upgrade and wait until this fall for the higher performance unit. I chose to go with this option. Now, here we are in October, a year or so steer my original purchase, and nothing has been delivered. I’ve contacted customer support several times, and they occasionally get back to me with assurances that the units will be shipped, but no commitments, no dates, no information provided. My latest email remains unanswered. I’ll happily update this review when and if my heater/miner arrives, but I’m steadily finding it harder to be optimistic about this company or product.

I ordered my Heatbit 1 year ago originally set to deliver in Oct-Nv. It was postponed multiple times til early Jan. The company reached out asking if I wanted a free upgrade to the MAXI pro model. Since the heating season was half over and Heatbit confirmed the unit would be ready in August 2026, I opted for the upgrade. So months go by with no notification. August comes and goes. I reach out to their support team for updates. I get a bunch of fluff about how they will be ready to ship for the heating season. Here I am in September 1 whole year after my original order. Yesterday was the first day of fall and temps are reaching 40 degrees and I still do not have my unit. Overall, severely unsatisfied with my experience. I am considering cancelling my order altogether at this point. Heatbit should not mention timelines if they cannot keep them. Or stop marketing products that nobody can get. What a disappointing experience.

I haven't received my order. I've asked for ETA and not gotten replies to the question. customer service is generally lacking so far.

Heatbit agreed to issue a refund of approximately $2,500 back to my credit card, but the refund has still not appeared. I have sent multiple follow-up emails and a formal demand letter, but I have received no response. I am now working through the dispute process with my credit card company. The most concerning part has been the lack of communication after Heatbit agreed to the refund. I will update this review if the company resolves the issue, but based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend doing business with Heatbit.

This response is copy and paste to every negative review. An email the following morning after my initial review said they canceled the order and asked how I would like the order refunded. I promptly responded giving an address to send the refunded BTC or to PayPal. Neither has been issued and I'm calling you out on saying you will do something and not following thru. This is a scam. A lawyer will be contacting you next. I have all the receipts and nothing but empty promises and thousands out on a pre order bundle for the maxi's. Hope it's worth it and people feast on these reviews so they don't have to go thru this. See you in small claims court. This is purposeful negligence.

It was advertised to make $100/season. (3 months, maybe 4) So you would expect to make $25-$35/month. I've had it on non-stop for 13 days and made $3.74. Also, as a heater, It did not get as warm as some of my other space heaters. I've never seen it get over 72 degrees. I'm not happy with this purchase at all.

At this point you can just refund me. This was supposed to have been delivered by Christmas and we are creeping on March. Chris Bateman

I ordered two Heatbit units (a Trio and a Maxi) and never received either product despite months of waiting. After being strung along with promises that delivery was "just around the corner" for 4 months straight, I finally requested a refund in late October. It's now been nearly 2 months since they confirmed my refund was processed, and I still haven't received my money back. The payment was made via Bitpay/Bitcoin, and they keep sending me broken links that lead to error pages when I try to complete the refund process. Their support team is polite but ultimately ineffective - lots of "warm regards" but zero results. Save yourself the headache and buy from a company that actually delivers products and processes refunds properly. Timeline: Ordered in early summer 2025, refund requested October 21st, still waiting for my money as of December 22nd.
