HeatbitReviews of heatbit.com

Super quiet and work as expected. We use the heat in the winter and the air purifier in the summer. Stays connected all the time really no issues with these units. They have been running solid for about 8 months!

I ordered my Heatbit a few years ago when they we having trouble delivering overseas. That was eventually sorted and they very kindly gave me some bitcoin for my patience. During this period the Company kept me updated on progress in a timely manner. The Heatbit eventually arrived in excellent working order. It arrived in our Summer time so I have only commenced using it this Winter. When I have it on the lower setting (400 W) it keeps the room slightly heated while mining bitcoin. If I turn it up it is able to heat the room. I find the app responsive and very helpful to know what's happening with the heater.

They are legit! I had my doubts, waited over a year to get one. I thought it was a lost cause, but I kept getting update notices. It worked well over the winter. Anytime I reached out for tech support. They were responsive.

They're a good company with a great product and excellent quality. Their customer service is also very responsive and willing to work with you. Honestly I don't have much to complain about. They have been great to work with, and although there have definitely been some hurdles with shipping and damage product on arrival, the Heatbit crew has been phenomenal.

It's a heater that mines Bitcoin, so on that aspect it works pretty well. There were a couple things I wish it had included. A working thermostat would have been good. It does not shut off when it reaches the temperature you set it to. Also, I wish I could control it from the app. Other than that, it works well.

It took more than year and a half (2 winters missed) to get the heater produced and delivered. I did not want to back Kickstarter campaign, but even though I waited, there were still some kinks to be polished before they started shipping the product. Heater works as advertised and there is plenty of opportunity to make it better (like remote on/off from the app), one thing to note is that it is loud, so you can't sleep with Heatbit on (I only have panel heaters to compare). Maybe idea would be to turn the fan off for normal heating as a "night mode", because also in my home office the noise is noticeable while working.

Very simple and effective space heater. Would be 5 stars if I could configure the mining pool myself.

I am an early buyer of the Heatbit, because I liked the idea. The product was stil in development at the moment. The development took longer than expected, but with one or two updates a year they kept me informed. This spring I finally received the Heatbit and I am happy with it. The power usage starts at 400kwh and is enough to heat up one room. Until than I used a regular heater with the same power usage. Because of the ventilator the Heatbit heats up the room faster. Downside is off course the sound of the ventilator. Not verry disturbing, but I wouldn’t put the heater in a room where I was all the time. The mining revenues alone are not worth the energy costs, but they are an extra on the heating. So that is ok. It works very easily. Just push the power button and it starts mining and heating. U can see the revenues with the app. You don't earn a lot ($0,20 in half a day), but I like the idea that I am contributing on the decentralisation of the Bitcoin network. The air purificatie is a nice extra feature.
