I'm a floor fitter
I'm a floor fitter, as such I am required to lift extreme weights on occasion on site. I've met manual handling instructors on site that have just walked away when shown these tasks. In my opinion alot of these certs are just another payment for the right to work. however the irony isn't lost on me, I know there is a need for workplace safety. I just question the need to be charged a fee for it.however competent you are you can't work without a payment.

Hi Peter, Thank you for sharing your honest feedback — we really appreciate it. You’re absolutely right that some manual handling situations on site can be extreme, and no short course can replace real-world experience. The aim of our training is simply to help make that heavy work a little safer and to meet employer safety requirements. We completely understand your perspective and value your insight as someone working hands-on every day. 👍
