Ok video lessons, insane price hike with no extra value
The lessons are ok, mostly, and it got me started playing a few pop songs, so kudos for that. It's just video lessons though, with a human voice. The lyrics/chord sheets are stored as images (like seriously?), so you can't copy and make your own notes. The only option is to print, and then annotate... Not a green solution. This kind of protection is really annoying when you've already paid for the subscription. I left feedback on a few lessons, and heard nothing back. So to me it seems like no one is listening. Downloadable lead sheets or sheet music (the musicnotes solution is not a real solution) and MIDI files would be super helpful. What bugs me most of all is that the cost of the monthly subscription just jumped by 80%, with no additional value to justify the hike. That's unacceptable behavior, so I've cancelled my sub.

Hi there, we really appreciate your feedback and I'm also going to reach out to connect with you 1-on-1 so we can discuss everything and work to improve your experience we HDpiano+. We are listening and we apologize as some of our technology has changed for receiving feedback - so you can always reach out to me directly at [email protected] and I will make sure you are heard and your feedback is shared with the team for planned improvements. Our newly added chord and lyric cheat sheets are required by our publishing deals to be non-downloadable and must be contained within the lesson page - we hope this provides added value but we will be working on improving them even more and maybe someday we'll be able to unlock more rights there! And we're sorry to hear you don't see any added value in our price increase, we have done our best to keep our pricing the same for years and thus fell behind on more incremental price increases and due to our investments over the last year we had to increase prices. We have invested in launching an iOS mobile app in the US & Canada, we have started re-rendering all our videos with updated visuals and note names on the falling blocks, we have re-designed our video player and customization tools, we have added chord and lyric sheets to over 500 lessons with more to come, we just added the Vince Guaraldi catalog and today we launched the beginning of a month long celebration of the newly added John Lennon solo catalog. And there are more improvements on the way! I hope we can connect 1-on-1 as well, I want to make sure you feel heard, thank you!
