Hello, The Interdry Fabric does contain anti-microbial silver complex in order to help prevent moisture associated skin conditions. The clinical case studies from the manufacturer may be helpful to find the best practices associated with this product: https://www.coloplast.com/Global/1_Corporate_website/Privacy%20Policy/CPWSC_Interdry%20Case%20Report%20Booklet.pdf In order to get the best results, it is important to leave a portion of the fabric exposed outside of the skin, to the air, in order for the product to "wick-away" the moisture from a skin fold. The product does not mask odors or contain a fragrance; rather, it helps reduce microorganisms that cause odor - by promoting a drier environment. There is also a "how-to-use" video available online here: https://consumer.interdry.com/how-to-use-interdry Other products that may help with dermatitis and/or the associated odor include barrier creams, topical antifungal cream, and absorptive materials. We are sorry that due to the nature of this personal care item, it cannot be returned unless it has never been opened. We hope you may find the above information helpful. Sincerely, the HDIS team.
