The suit is one that I waited to get…

The suit is one that I waited to get for over a year. When it arrived I was NOT impressed with the quality of the suit for the price. The old Haspel family maybe the originator of the seersucker suit but quality assurance, customer engagement and customer service are in need of serious review and overhaul. My suit has unfinished and loosely stitched lining inside of the jacket as well as the jacket was not a true fit for the size I ordered. Ironically I ordered another seersucker from a competing vendor for 6 times less and the quality was on point for fit, finish and service. I contacted Hspel about my disappointment and I did receive an email a few days later indicating I would receive a call from their customer service department however its been 2 months later and I've yet to hear from them. Unacceptable. Be aware when you purchase the product the size may not be true and the stitch quality may leave you very concerned and disappointed.

Mr. Johnson, Thank you for your review. Your call was returned on 05/18/23. Unfortunately, you were not available, so a message was left on your voicemail. We are sorry we were unable to make contact with you. The pictures you sent were reviewed by our factory engineer. The “loose stitching” you are referring to is done for a purpose. We attach the shoulder seams and the arm sleeves with a loose blind stitch in order to allow movement of the jacket across the shoulder. If those seams were secured any other way, the jacket would not move naturally with your body movement. The lining of the jacket is then attached over these seems and not visible from the interior of the jacket. We have not received a return from you so hopefully you have had a chance to wear the jacket and understand why we construct our garments in this way. My buy one get one free did not properly go through the check out process. When I reached out to customer support, they promptly got the 2nd crew shirt in my order sent to me.
