Do not purchase from this store. They are a scam. The website states they have a 30 day return policy and instructs customers to send them an email for return instructions. I tried that twice and my emails came back for an invalid email address. I contacted them twice through their website and got no response. The items I received from them were exceptionally poor quality and looked nothing like the photos on their website. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and will be getting a full credit to my account. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT BUY from this company.

Do not buy from this store. I believe it is a scam. The store claims to be located in Boston, but I have no way of knowing where it actually is. I ordered a blazer and received the wrong size, much bigger than what I ordered. The quality is incredibly poor, the fabric is see-through, and the blazer looks nothing like the photos in the advertisement. When I asked for a refund, they asked me to send a photo so they could "study the case." They then offered me only a 10% refund, which came to $6, and said that if I wanted to return the item, I would have to pay for international shipping myself. I did not get a full refund or a reasonable resolution. I am reporting this store, and I am writing this review so that others can avoid the same experience.

I am reporting Harper & Wells Boston (harperwells-boston.com) for potentially deceptive advertising and unfair business practices. The company markets itself as a premium Boston retailer but shipped me cheap, poor-quality boots in black when I ordered navy. Despite advertising a 30-day money-back guarantee, the company repeatedly offered partial refunds of 10%–40% rather than resolving its mistake. They ultimately required me to pay $30–$50 in international shipping to return the incorrect merchandise to a company in China, despite presenting themselves as a Boston-based business. I only received my full $145 refund after disputing the transaction through PNC Bank. I believe the company's misleading marketing, questionable business representation, and obstructive return practices warrant investigation to protect other consumers. The website misrepresents "Easy Returns". in fact, there is no return system. The size of there products are all over the spectrum. Small can be gigantic and large ( personal experience on both) can be size zero. so if you try to return as I did, then you have to pay shipping back to source which is a foreign country and very expensive. so instead they let u keep the stuff that doesn't fit and let u buy up to the dollar value you spent for other items. Sounds good? except the sizing on those items is still bad. so I am donating multiple items to a homeless service organization. Lesson learned. If not a legit company... stay away. like this one.

I ordered a swimsuit and I am a size 6 and can also wear small and medium sizes. Based on the reviews of previous purchasers of this particular bathing suit I decided to order the large. The suit arrived as a size large and would fit a size 0 or 1. I think it would probably fit my petite 12 year old Granddaughter. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with this product and company. Don’t waste your money buying their products.

This company is a scam. I purchased a dress online. It came two weeks later and was the cheapest junk I could ever imagine. Since their website said 'Easy Returns' I wasn't too worried and immediately let me know I wanted a return. Well, emails came every few days, apologizing for the delay and trying to get me to keep the dress for a discount of 20 percent. I said no, because the dress is completely unwearable (like K-mart quality). They then finally tell me that the returns are handled through Asia so I would need to send it back on my own dime (internationally) and then there would not be enough time to give me the discount because they have a 30 day policy. I received the dress on Oct. 7 and it's taken until yesterday to get this information. I've cancelled my credit card payment. This company is a COMPLETE SCAM!

What you see and what you get is not right! Found that their address is a residential address and clothing comes from somewhere in Asia. Got a tracking number after it was delivered lol! 2 shirts are as cheap as they can get, so I'm out 109.00 and not even going to try to get my money. The shirt color is different than the inside and looks bad as well as the stitching that looks like it's spring loaded drawing the material together and needs released. Overall stay away from this scam. Some little child is probably making these clothes for pennies. Can't confirm that but would not be surprised!

This company is not interested in helping the customer, only in keeping their money. I ordered a dress a month ahead of the wedding. It did not arrive in time for the wedding. They would not let me return the dress because they said it would cost me too much to ship it back overseas. At one point they decided to give me a 100% refund, but then lied about it. They told me I could take my time and get back to them whenever I was ready, and when I finally did, they said my 30 day window had passed for exchanges. I should have read the reviews before I purchased.
