Ordered a t shirt which is tight across the bust. Tried to arrange by email for immediate exchange but got the runaround for two weeks, acknowledging my email and saying someone would get back to me every several days. Eventually they asked for photos of shirt and label and said they would see if maybe it was a mistake in labeling - if so they would send me the next size. If not I could order the bigger one and exchange the other for $13 or something. No promised free exchanges. I told them forget it - too late for what I wanted it for. Terrible experience

A TOTAL SCAM - please read reviews before ordering. This company is based in China and they send cheap or too small items. Their website mentions free returns which is a lie. They try to give you a 10 or 20% discount to keep an item you cannot use, and then when you insist on a return, they ghost you. I will call AMEX get the charge removed. BUYER BEWARE!

Ordered a dress advertised as £100 reduced to £30. Photos looked like a quality designer dress, thick material, textured. What arrived was nothing like the photos. Cheap, thin, nasty plastic-like material, badly made, see-through, wrong colour tone. Looked like a £5 market rag, not a £100 dress. When something is too good to be true, it is. Unworn, with tags. Wanted to return. Website says "EASY RETURNS - hassle-free". At checkout it does NOT clearly say you have to pay yourself to return it to ASIA / China. To return a £30 dress they wanted me to pay £15-£20 international postage - not worth it. Emailed - first reply said Wilson & Carter, next signature says Harper@wells / Harper & Wells. Which company am I dealing with? Confusing and misleading. No proper UK company address on Companies House. I followed their returns process, sent photos. Then silence. I sent a formal complaint giving them 48 hours to provide a free UK returns label or confirm I can dispose of dress for full refund. No reply in 48 hours. Had to claim full refund via my bank (Section 75 / chargeback) and report to Trading Standards. Check Trustpilot before you buy - 990 reviews, 1.1 stars. Same story. Advertised as London but ships from China. Poor quality, impossible returns. AVOID. Buy from a real UK retailer instead

DO NOT order anything from Harper Wells! Clothing is very low quality from China. Customer service is just part of the scam. Google search should remove this company. FALSE business at best!

Bait and switch scam. Do not accept their 'store credit' trap. The clothes are garbage—gross, cheap printed fabric that looks like a blurry photo stamped on plastic. Unwearable junk.

1 is much more than is deserved. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The quality of the products is extremely poor, and the customer service is even worse. I have been trying for a week to get a return address, 6 requests so far, and they continue to refuse to send me the return address. So much for an “easy return policy”! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Scammers all the way!!

I should have read the reviews. It's pretty sad that someone is making money buying jump from China and misleading us as selling from Boston quality clothes. This stuff is rags. Never again, I think I'm done shopping online because everything is a lie and everything comes from China. Horrible.

Fraudsters, BEWARE OF THEM, They claim easy refunds, but trying to get a refund is akin to climbing a mountain. Every time,there is a new request,and finally after 4 days, they suggest I should pay more money for shipping and get another size. The material is cheap, definitely not worth the money, the photos are definitely AI generated, v likely the reviews too. I can't imagine anyone giving the product 5 stars
