Worst Experience
When I opened a new account at my credit union a few years ago, my representative ordered my new checks for me to get me started. The checks that arrived (from Harland Clarke) were fine quality, no complaint. At the end of last year I reordered new checks from Harland Clarke. I took a chance and didn't pay for Priority Mail. The checks arrived, eventually, but the quality is abysmal. Just as one reviewer wrote, the checks tear from the top under the binding, which was done incorrectly. This results in a torn, useless check. Now I actually have to cut the checks out with scissors (good luck!) or a straight edge. And the checks are so flimsy. I've never experienced anything like this with any other company that I've ordered my checks from. Honestly, is this company for real?! For the price I paid, I expected better, not the best, but better. I tried to file a complaint, first online then by phone. Of course, my email was ignored and trying to reach customer service by phone? Yeah, good luck with that. No matter what I did the stupid, useless automated system wouldn't connect me to a real, live human. Imagine that! Doing business with a company and you can't even deal with a human being. They take your money, send you crap and you can't do a darn thing about it! Buyer beware, do not do business with this company!! :(
