Called. Someone took the call only to take notes and then told me someone would get back to me in 24 hours. I got an email that did NOT answer my questions. Last thing you want with a registered agent is no one to answer the phone and then to waste your time taking the call and all the questions for them to email back nothing in which you asked about! I went with Bizee they answered the phone and the questions.

I signed into Registered agents inc thinking is was a local company because it had a local phone number and a physical address. At some point my account was taken by Harbor Compliance, fast forward 5 years letter my company gets a court summons, someone in the physical office signed for it and uploaded to a portal that I have never used and NO ONE CALLED OR MAILED THE PHYSICAL SUMMONS. I ENDED UP WITH A JUDGMENT AND NOW MY LAWYER IS TRYING TO FIGHT IT. IF YOU CANNOT EMAIL A SUMMONS THEN THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO JUST SEND A NOTIFICATION IN AN EMAIL. THIS IS DISGUSTING WHEN THERE ARE LEGAL ISSUES AT STAKE!

No customer service.

Their customer service was very active until I paid them the fee, after that all the responses for my emails on next steps are automated responses, their customer services is non-responsible.

Not only did they not provide the service paid for, they tried to invoice us for a SUBSCRIPTION to the service they never provided in the first place

I signed up with Harbor Compliance to form my NYS LLC. After giving my cc info, and filling out the subsequent co info and details related to how I wanted to handle the registered agent requirement I called the company with a question. They promised me some one would get back to me. No one ever did and now I am fighting to get my money back from them. I cannot recommend this company.

Harbor Compliance attempts to position themselves as a software/service company, that at best offers a calendar view of tasks imposed on clients to self-serve. Company turnover is high and capable, accountable resources are few and far between.

I am the officer of a start-up non-profit. I told Harbor when we hired them that we were new. After paying them to register us, they informed me for the first time that we could not file without our annual tax filling with the IRS. Since we were not a year old we could not have that. We agreed that we should wait a few months until we had that form. When I went back with the form, Harbor insisted on charging me the fee again since we were now in a different fiscal year, a fee approach that was never disclosed and which results in a double charge for the same registration. Even worse, their insistence that we had to have the IRS form to file turns out to be wrong. As a result we have missed months of contributions while waiting, erroneously, to file. I cannot get anyone at Harbor to even reply to these complaints.
