My cars transmission died 12/18/2022. Its now been 30+ plus days and i still dont have my car back. GWC sent a used transmission with over 80,000 miles on it to be put back in the car. The 'recommended'mechanic has 3 total employees. No work has been done to get the transmission put in. I have been calling the mechanic weekly because there is no communication from them. This is freaking ridiculous! I will never recommend getting a GWC Warranty or Precision Auto Tune for service!

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS WARRANTY!!!! This company is a SCAM. I wish I would have been warned before my wife and I purchased GWC warranties with two cars we purchased 8/04/22. After 90 days of owning the cars one of them had an engine problem which in the brochure states that they cover. Well after having the car towed to one of their approved shops the shop found that the engine needs replaced. GWC now says that they won't cover the repair due to pre-existing condition. A pre-existing condition is something you know before you purchase something. This car ran and drove for 90 days so there is no pre-existing condition. This is a scam. These people sell these warranties to hundreds of people a day knowing that in the big picture only a small percentage of these vehicles will have a big issue. So, if they don't pay the claim and screw the costumer it's only a small amount of loss to them because they could care a less about the consumer. They only care about money in their pockets. It's unfortunate that I had to give a star to write this because they deserve no stars but I wanted to warn others.

Would give 0 stars if I could. BEWARE do not purchase from this company. Car broke down on Sept 2, 2022 was towed to the mechanic, GWC was contacted by mechanic. (Who has over 27 years) working on that particular brand of vehicle. GWC gave him authorization to start to look for the problem. Found a hole in one of the pistons, called GWC and they asked hom for replacement parts. They were told that no pistons could be ordered as it would need a new engine.Then GWC stated to me that my mechanic would need to tell them why the part failed.....like he is a CSI forensic engineer mechanic.I contacted GWC several times amd they keep telling me that the mechanic would need to tell them the reason it failed. He could not. Then GWC told my mechanic that he should not have torn it apart without auth. Well you can see where this is headed. I told GWC to figure out a compromise or send their own adjuster to figure out what happened. They declined and also declined to cover the part that is covered because they think something happened with the fuel injectors. Well...they're covered too under my $4000.00 policy. You can't get a straight answer from them they just don't want to pay out. Well we have a contract and i'm willing to fight. I realize that they have tons of lawyers on staff, but I won't back down from whats right. I lived up to my part now they have to. If anyone wants to join my fight leave me a message here and together maybe we can get justice. I already contacted the BBB haven't heard back yet. It October 25th and I still have yet to hear from GWC on the official status. My mechanic is pretty much disgusted with them too. GWC better figure all of this out before they run outta customers and mechanics that will accept their warranties.

AVOID AT ALL COST! I Have a 2015 black escalade that I purchased last year April 2019! While at the dealership they proposed GWC extended warranty everything looked perfect on papers and since It was my first time buying a used car I thought it was a safe option "Which Was NOT". I went ahead and bought the best and most expensive one they could offer so Im at peace around $4000. The car had some minor problems so I took it to Cadillac dealership at least 3 times since purchased and I was told that I needed to run a general Mandatory diagnosis if I want to use my GWC warranty its an extra $180 each time "That's a flat rate you need to pay"! A Hidden fee that I was not even aware of but I accepted and it was fine by me. I was under the impression that it will check all the problems that the car. Recently My escalade had a transmission problem and I had to tow it because it looked serious. After running another $180 diagnose Cadillac sent the report to GWC and as soon as they saw that the repair will be over $2000 Thats when everything started to fall GWC denied my claim saying that it was the transmission fluid that was not changed! My car was in service at least 3 times at the dealership and had a general diagnosis every time Not even one time someone mentioned something about transmission fluid, I just want to understand why would they do a general inspection, make me pay for it and not let me know that the transmission fluid is low or It needs to be changed. We can go to all records and bring all the people involved and not one person or one paper says that “transmission fluid need to be changed” GWC will try anything to blame it on you as soon as the claim is over a certain amount. I purchased the best package GWC had to offer just to not deal with these insurance denials because the salesperson assured me that they cover 100% of anything wrong with the car. I tried to reach out GWC by phone they let you explain what's going on with the claim then leave you on hold indefinitely or hang up on you.. good luck getting a hold of someone. Sent several emails to GWC claim department you get the same preset answers that they learn in training. My car is still at the shop not being able to do anything because im wasting my time going back and forth with them. i have been with no car for the last 2 weeks just trying to get my claim taking care of. Dont Purchase its a SCAM BIG FLAG GWC warranty SCAM
