shipping fees are outrageous ($30.00) plus another $22.50 for FedEx shipping costs.as were from Canada, we had to pay the exchange rate plus additional shipping fees. The glasses were only $79.99 US + $29.95 (via FedEx International Delivery) which came to $109.94 US, converted to $154.00 CAN. Then had to pay the additional $22.50 FedEx costs. Why did we have to pay the additional shipping costs? this was not indicated when purchasing the glasses. The exchange & shipping was more than the actual glasses themselves. Not pleased & would request a refund of the additional shipping costs as $29.95 US is more than enough to ship a small pair of glasses.

These glasses look amazing. Very sturdy, and the build quality is very good. I went to get new prescription glasses and spent a chunk of time picking out glasses frames and none really stuck out to me despite the variety of options. These ones look great out of the box. I'm also not sure if this is a promotion going on but I got a cleaner and the hard shell case with the glasses as well. Wasn't expecting it so it was a really nice bonus. In terms of quality of lens, I've owned another pair of gunnar glasses for 6 years now, and similarly there's magnification, and it definitely reduces eye strain. I will say that the nose pad area that press on my nose bridge leaves a bit of an indent after a long day of wearing them. I haven't gotten to adjusting them (they're adjustable) so it's something I have to do. If you feel discomfort from wearing it out of the box I would suggest doing so as well. Overall great pair of glasses. Worth the cost.

Order never showed up... called 4 times and had to leave message before someone called me back. Then shipped the wrong item. I have already left 2 messages to return the item and get the correct item and no one has called me back. The only good employee there is KENNY in terms of customer service. This is the last order I will place with them and I've bought several glasses throughout the years.

Quality! And affordable! Gunnar reminds me of Apple products. Great delivery presentation, quality in the product details, and an awesome business startup story! The glasses looked good in the virtual try on, but looked even better in the actual try on. The nose parts & side parts are comfortable and durable, much better than normal eyeglasses & sunglasses. Most importantly, the amber lens relieves my vision tension! I highly recommend Gunnar.

Item that arrived is not the item that I ordered

Bought the Vertex Gunnars and I'm very pleased. I've had a pair in the past but seems they have improved the durability.

The communication was amazing. The support I received while figuring out answers to my questions and troubleshooting the problem that arose was top notch. The representative I emailed with was fantastic, knowledgeable, personable, and had an array of options available to them to help me figure things out and make my ordering process go as smoothly as possible. The ordering process had a minor hiccup, one of my prescription lenses didn't make it past Quality Control and had to be re-cut, which delayed things a week or so, and I sort of wish that they had just shipped what they had, because I ordered several other lenses that I assume were to spec, but they just sent the accessories I had ordered instead. That's really minor though, and the fact that they communicated that there would be a delay, as well as telling me exactly why was a really smart thing to do. I've had Gunnars in the past and used them for when I would be in front of a computer or TV screen in the past, but usually only for marathon gaming sessions. Now that I'm going to school completely online, I definitely need something to keep my eyestrain down, and that I could wear under a headset for a few hours at a time without my head hurting from having glasses arms clamped to my skull for several hours. I am seriously looking forward to having my whole head not hurt after a long day of class. Well, my brain will still hurt, but that's another thing.
