I am asking for documentation and they are saying they have none to give me? What did I pay for your services for if I dont get any documentation?

Hello Mr. Tallman,
I see in the notes on your account that you have been in contact with a Guardian Representative on 12/19/17.
The notes indicate that the Representative has reached out to the Washington State Office for help with your particular situation. I have also sent them an email requesting them to contact you as well.
Please contact me at [email protected] for any further help.
Kind regards,

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ANY HELP!!
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET ANY HELP!!! I literally get put on hold for 40+ mins every time I call; and I have to call EVERY MONTH because they overcharge me$35 EVERY MONTH and the shop says there is nothing they can do, that I have to go through Guardian to get a refund. It takes me HOURS of time I SHOULD be working making money to get my refund, so it's just a wash anyways. And then when you DO finally get them on the phone, they transfer you to the wrong person who then says they can't transfer you back because it's a "different company," and then you have to start ALL OVER. It is absolutely insane. If I could give negative stars, I would.

Don't do it!!
Wow . Where to begin ! Absolutely do not ,and I repeat do not use guardian as your provider! Nothing but issues with their dated equipment. Impossible to reach them. Each and every review on this site is accurate and similar to what I have experienced. Do a Google search consumer insight guardian and read the horror stories. They are all true.

DO NOT USE GUARDIAN
Guardian Interlock is a SHAM - DO NOT USE THEM. They are very nice to you on the phone when you first call in because this is the method they use to hook you in, and make you believe that everything is going to go smoothly. They offered me my first month free and low monthly rates of $69.00 a month afterwards. The installation for the device came to only $21.00. All great until I left the mechanic who installed the device. The first stop I made and tried to turn on the car and it did not start. I called Guardian and after holding for 20 minutes, someone finally picked up and told me to have the car towed back to the mechanic. Next day, the car again stalls and gets towed to the mechanic. The mechanic told me that the base of the device was not working, so he had to change it. When he changed the base, he realized that two headpieces did not work either. I was told by the mechanic that all the equipment Guardian sends out is refurbished and they have ALOT OF ISSUES with FAULTY EQUIPMENT. This is not safe, and this kind of equipment will leave you stranded as it did to me that first & second day of use!!!! I have called Guardian a total of 4 times, resulting in almost 3 hours of conversations and they do not want to allow me to remove the faulty equipment unless I adhere to their cancellation policies of over $200.00. They have their calling centers well trained and do not allow you to be transferred to their "state department" which is a compete sham. Finally someone called me this morning (Sergio) and he listened to my complaints and copped a major attitude with me and told me that he was not going to do anything for me. So I guess they bully you and abuse you since you are stuck with the device until you shell out $200.00 for their mistake? Wow - I am contacting everyone to complain about these crooks. Look online and check all their negative reviews. I did not do this before and regret it. If you have had problems with Guardian like myself - contact the real state department which is the DMV in your local state and tell them how badly you are being treated by this private company. They have a government contract with the state and they are abusing their customers. On my first two days I am being bullied by these unethical people. They lack any kind of customer service and I no longer feel safe to drive my car with proven faulty, damaged & poor equipment. They don't care about your safety or your satisfaction. They just want your money. The equipment is old and a very slow system to start & stop on top of everything. We should not be treated this way!!!!!! Being abused and taken advantage of because of your temporary situations is unacceptable.
Guardian thanks for the shallow response below but you know who I am and I won't expose my real name on the internet. Who wants anyone to know they are using an interlock device? Great try tho to deviate from the blame!

Dont go with guardian interlock it will cost you!
I don't know about any other interlock company but this one(guardian interlock) these are scammers, the devices are rigged for you to have to pay, anything that goes wrong with the device is yo fault and they charge you! Customer service is crappy! I recently just got the device removed, when i called and made the appointment they told me it would be 70 dollars but when they removed it i was charged 220 and the cs rep couldn't even tell me why the price jumped when i questioned it cs hung up! IF YOU ARE READING THIS DON'T DO IT!!!

This is the worst company ever!!!!
This is the worst company I have ever interacted with, first they installed the system incorrectly the truck wouldn't even start to let us leave the shop and all the guy did was twist some wires around. 4 days later we had to have someone else completely rewire it because it kept telling me to turn off the vehicle and said I violated and showed negative days, but when I took it in it showed I did nothing wrong. The first place was supposed to refund us our installation fee since I had to pay someone else to reinstall it and never did. Only a month later I have had to take off work four times to have it reset because it keeps going negative and now they want to charge me 100's to have it taken out! Save your money and go with smartstart this company is a complete joke!

Horrible
Horrible. Lack of communication between the call center and Mechanics caused several setbacks. Also, it looks like there are 7 missed appointments on my record even though I NEVER missed an appointment. The customer service representatives on the phone were great but now I have lost nearly 2 years worth of time with my interlock device because of the lack of professional behavior by Guardian Technicians. The technicians in Phoenix were phenomenal. I NEVER had any issues with my service at Cardinal Car Stereo. They would even check on me and make sure any random issues with my device were corrected in a timely manner. I wish I could say the same for the techs here. For some reason the technicians in the Austin area are completely incompetent and deflect any accountability for their unprofessional behavior. I am truly shocked by my recent experiences. The actions of the Area Manager are deplorable. It's absolutely shocking that these people have a job.

Guardian Interlock System
The Guardian Alcohol Interlock device was installed on my Honda GB250cc motorbike for 6 months in 2016-2017.
Every 3-4 weeks, my vehicle's battery would die because the Interlock saps a small charge from the battery even when idle, turned off, detached from the interlock, i.e. always.
At the end of the 6 months, I had spent about $450 on new batteries, charging and labour costs and had been really frustrated with not having a vehicle for most of that 6 months due to the battery dying.
I would call Guardian every 3-4 weeks when this would happen, and they would swear to me that it couldn't possibly be the interlock as the interlock has, and i quote, 'never caused any issues ever in its entire history'. I found this assertion particularly hilarious after looking at customer reviews (like this one) online concerning their product.
I took the bike to a Honda service centre and they tested the bike and found that the Interlock in fact did take out a small but constant charge from the battery which would most certainly be causing the battery to die.
All in all, if you have a motorbike or a small engine car and are in the process of looking for an Interlock provider, I would certainly recommend steering clear of Guardian.
Save yourself a giant headache and look elsewhere.
Ahh it feels good to vent..
As per Guardian's reply below, I've spent almost $2000 on your device with installs, calibrations, etc. over the las 6 months, and you're questioning whether or not I am even a customer of yours? I am already in email correspondence with you guys. Keep up, buddy.
