GrowJoyReviews of growjoy.com

This is my 2nd year ordering from GrowJoy. I had such great success with last year’s garden and am continuing to add additional plants this season. My plants have arrived quickly and in great condition. They are far superior to what I have purchased in the past from the box stores. For example, the petunias that I planted last year survived our boiling hot and humid SC summer and actually even had a couple of blooms during the holiday season despite a couple of days of 20 degree weather! I had also planted pentas from a box store that grew about 3 inches tall, but the pentas from GrowJoy is about 12 inches tall, healthy and attracting butterflies. I’ve only had one minor concern with one of my orders but the customer service department at GrowJoy was very responsive and resolved my concern. I will continue to place future orders as the quality of the plants and service has been excellent. My garden bears the proof.

I generally do not write reviews but I thought it incumbent upon me to do so after reading so many derogatory and misleading reviews from others. I have been purchasing my vegetable plants and some flowers from GrowJoy for 4 seasons. I have called with questions and have spoken with the owner of he company who helped me diagnose issues I was experiencing with my garden. I have found the folks at GrowJoy to be helpful, attentive and their stock is the best I have found. Better than local nurseries, and far better than any big box store on both quality and variety of plants available. I see a lot of comments about people who have ordered plants and did not receive their orders and have not been satisfied with the customer service. I will tell you that for me that has not been the case!! If some of you haven't noticed we have gone through a very difficult year with Covid. So many people, maybe some of you have sat in your homes conducting your business on Zoom or the phone. Well these folks have to actually go to work and grow stock, package and ship plants and hope that the delivery that they have no control over make to their customer in a timely manor. I am also a person that can't sit on my brain all day chatting about all the hard work I'm doing. I have to rely on others to show up and do their jobs. Well, that has not been an easy task. Lots of folks would rather sit at home and collect unemployment and play video games than go to work. I am sure GrowJoy is experiencing the same problem getting their staff to show up or even finding help. How many of you see help wanted signs in every place of business you frequent? I know where I live that is the case. Hour waits at restaurants, not because they don't have room but they don't have help. And I could list dozens of businesses that have the same problem, hence causing difficulties for their customers. I guess what I'm suggesting is try to be a little understanding with what this and many other businesses are going through. I would bet that most of the complaints are from first time purchasers who do not have a history with GrowJoy. If you are having issues with this company I can guarantee it's not because they don't care and from my experience it's not the way they normally conduct business. For the folks who are reading the reviews on GrowJoy and have never done business with this company give them a try. I think, like me you will find their plants to be first rate and the staff and the owner of the company want to provide excellent product and service. Again try to be a little understanding with this and so many other companies are going through. By the way I am a person why has run my companies for 35 years. Believe me it doesn't always go as you know it should. All you can do is your best and try to make it right for your customer. I truly think GrowJoy wants to do that for every one of their customers.

This is an excellent company to get plants from! Everything is packaged nicely and secure ! The plants I have received are all flourishing and the company is very proactive with care documents in the shipments! I have ordered twice and have been very pleased with everything!

I first placed an order with GrowJoy in November 2018. I was so happy with their service, their shipping care and their healthy plants that I ended up ordering 14 plants overall for spring 2019. I ordered plants from them again for spring 2020 to fill in a few gaps and again was very pleased with my purchases. I moved in November of 2020 and have had to fill in my new flower beds. I have ordered from a few different companies to get a variety of plants, but GrowJoy is ALWAYS one of my favorites. I just went onto their website and counted, I placed orders for 15 plants just from GrowJoy for spring 2021. All orders have been received, all were well packaged and all are growing happily in the flower beds at my new home. Covid-19 has been really rough on many people and businesses. I wish there was a place here to post pictures of my happily growing and blooming plants. I get compliments all the time!

The plants I order are beautiful and very healthy. It took a little longer to get them but they were worth the wait. Be patient when you ordering! From what I understand there business struggling. They can’t find worker’s! So help them out you won’t be sorry! 🪴

I was extremely satisfied with service and plants! I ordered fuschia plants and a heliotrope. The latter was questionable, but has since done quite well in the ground. I understand the worker problem since so many people would rather sit at home and collect checks than have character and actually do something for their money. Hope the problem clears up soon! Quite satisfied with GrowJoy!

We love Grow Joy. The plants arrive in great condition, start growing right away. Best nursery we've ever found. Barbara

I have ordered from GrowJoy the last 4 years and I'm very happy with their plants. They ship healthy plants and are well packaged when they arrive. All my plants and shrubs are still thriving.
