Total Ripoff!!! They charged my card, never sent my plants, never answered my email, and seem to have no phone service. No access to these people is available. Just don't do it.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
Shipped products a month late. Shipment was missing items. Credit card was charged when order was placed instead of when order shipped. Customer service is unresponsive to email requests for refund.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

I am hoping since a few bad reviews…
I am hoping since a few bad reviews have been answered on this forum....I might get a response. I ordered, and my cc was charged in early March. My account shows May 30th shipping date. As I was going to be out of gown for work, I called early May to check on the shipping. Was told they would go out May 30th. Told my daughter to look out for them. Now its the 18th of June. No plants, tried to call weeks ago, get a message they are working on it, but email if you have questions. Three emails, no response. Now their phone number isn't even on their website. BUT I had it in my phone. Tried calling 2 days ago, just rings and rings...until it cuts you off. And now on my account there is no longer a shipping date. If you have enough time to alter your website, by removing the phone number, and customers account pages, by removing shipping dates, why can't you take time to respond to emails....sent at your direction?? I just want to know if I will ever see order #472353 placed on March 6, 2021 order code CTV1014741648

Hello Donna. Yes, your Hardy Hibiscus Plants are scheduled to be delivered around the 1st week of July. They come out of dormancy a bit later and we had a late cold snap that set them back a bit. Once they are shipped, you will receive a tracking number via your email. These are very hardy plants and will grow and bloom yet for you this season. Thanks for your patience. Joe

1 star too generous
1 star too generous. Ordered may 10. Today June 18. Contacted via email at least 5 times last few to cancel. Told them I was reversing cc charge and did. Never answered phone so couldn’t get them that way. Just delivered plants today. My garden was planted 5 days ago with wonderful plants from Bob’s garden center in s Jersey. Fortunately they had many heirloom tomatoes and everything else I wanted. Just sent them another email to pick up order. Takes a lot of nerve to ignore customers. Especially customer for about 5 years. Never again. BTW I got twice the amount of big plants for the exact amount of money grow joy charges.

Plants ordered
I ordered several vegetable plants. Three tomatoes were dead two lettuce plants were dead and one sage plant. The rest of my order consisted of small plants close to dead. I texted four times and never heard from them. Do not order from this company plants are expensive and of poor quality. The company does not respond and does not stand behind its products.

Barbara, please accept my apology for the plants arriving in poor condition. We will be contacting you shortly to make things right. Sincerely, Joe

Poor product and service
Poor product and service
I ordered 24 geranium plants, along with 3 phlox plants, on March 10 at a cost of over $200. The shipping date kept getting pushed forward week by week without explanation. The plants finally arrived yesterday, June 15, in a crushed box with loose adhesive tape. This created an opening that allowed the plants to dry out. The soil was dry, some leaves were dry and brown around the edges, and other leaves fell off. Several plants were root bound in their pots. I planted all the geraniums immediately, watered them copiously, and added a solution of Miracle Gro to the soil. Even after having been planted, the foliage of the geraniums looks pale and weak.
I sent an email to the company, expressing my keen disappointment with these costly but poor quality geraniums and their late delivery and careless packaging. I have not received a reply. I tried calling them, only to hear a message that their mailbox is full.
In my opinion, Grow Joy should have behaved honorably and notified me that they could not fulfill my order with the quality product they advertise on their website, and returned my money so I could shop elsewhere.

Tomato order 491982
Tomato order? 491982
This is the email I sent last week:
I tried calling, but that doesn't work. I ordered my tomatoes on 5/15, promised shipping date was this week, I do not yet have them. I am not a happy customer. If I had known how bad your service is, I would have driven over and just picked them up. I understand busy, but planning should be involved as well. You were my last hope for one of my favorite tomatoes and I am very disappointed. I really hope they arrive today.

Hello Pat. So sorry for the delay in shipping your order. It looks like we had promised your order would ship the week of 6/6. Unfortunately we are still catching up with some orders. I just checked and your order is in the shipping process and should make it out the door today, which means you will have your plants in the next day or two. Once you get the tracking number tomorrow morning, it will tell you exactly which day it will be. Thank you for your patience. Sincerely, Joe

I am so sad about this year’s ( 2021)…
I am so sad about this year’s ( 2021) order. I placed my order of February a d did not arrive 2 wks late, in June!
Two items were cancelled but no one ever informed me si I could replace them elsewhere.
My petunias arrived looking like the unwatered sale plants at a big box store.
The saddest plants were the tomatoes. The Paul Robeson’s main stem was snapped off and now it’s trying to live on the suckers. The other four plants are spindly and sparse and sad. I am going to try burying them deep, all the way to the top leaves, and hope they recover and bear fruit.
The worst part is that my calls and emails go unanswered!
I assume that this is all the result of Biden throwing $$$ at people and so no one wants to work because last year my plants arrived and were strong and gorgeous.
This year when I opened the box I literally cried... half dead plants, late delivery, cancelled plants AND unanswered attempts at communication!

Wendy, please accept my apology for the frustration we have caused you this season. As you may know, we have had great difficulty finding folks to work; however, that is not excuse for plants arriving in this condition. Ashley will be contacting you shortly to make this right. Sincerely, Joe
