The course is primarily talking and doesn’t use visuals very well. It also doesn’t take advantage of animation or interactive technology.

I'm very happy I got to use Gold Seal for my ground school. I was looking at another ground school till I found a flight instructor and he sent me to Gold Seal. I believe this school is the prime example of how the FAA wants future pilots to learn.

I signed up for the Gold Seal private pilot ground school on the recommendation of my CFI. I am very happy to report that at the end of a few months studying I passed my FAA Knowledge Test with a perfect 100% What I really like about the course is the way the content is arranged. It follows the general order of some popular written materials, but presents things in a practical way so that you can understand how it applies to your flying. Many of the videos include interactive content that allows you to reinforce your knowledge as you go. Being able to take as many practice tests as you'd like before doing the final exams was very helpful too. Overall I'm very happy with the course and do plan to purchase the instrument ground school next.

Gold Seal Online Ground School was a great experience for me. I had previously taken a ground school with Gleim 3 years back but never finished it out to take my knowledge test. This ground school helped me see how to apply this knowledge I've learned to be a safe pilot.

Massive Shout out to the entire Gold Seal team for an excellent training system. TL/DR: I passed the written exam with a 93% after just 5 days... A little bit more... Last Thursday (6/16/22) I decided it would be an awesome challenge to become a pilot. I knew nothing of the process and had no prior training. After figuring out the process I decided I wanted to get the written test out of the way early. So I signed up for the Private Pilot Ground School after doing a bunch of research on different programs. I really liked the format after trying the free access. I paid for the course on 6/21/22 and completed the course rapidly as it had my attention almost every evening, after work and after doing some remodeling projects around the house. It only took me a few days of focus to get through all the training. When I started taking the practice exams I had a huge boost of confidence. I scored a 92%, then a 80%, then a 90%. SO... I went ahead and scheduled my written exam for Saturday (6/25/22). Russell Still answered a few of my newbie questions and made me feel like I was in the right place. GOOD NEWS... I was FULLY prepared for the exam. I was actually shocked at how well I did. The info came back to me readily from the training. For those who are tracking that's 5 days from purchasing the course to passing the written exam. Again, thanks for all you've put together here team. Can't wait to get up in the air and start my real world flying experience!

Really enjoyed the Gold Seal Private Pilot online ground school. I feel the course covered all the required topics and was interactive. Easily passed the written exam on the first attempt (97 score). Highly recommend!
