When searching for a ground school many people mentioned how it was something you just had to suffer through. Almost in a ground school is torture mentality. I was incredibly satisfied when I found Gold Seal while listening to a few podcast on a long drive. After going to their website and verifying it was actual learning and information based rather than memorize and brain dump, I was hooked. Passed my Private pilot exam with a solid score, but breezed through my oral portion of my check-ride thanks to Gold Seal. When it came time to find a ground school for my instrument rating I was heart broken to find their course wasn't going to be released untill the end of fall 2022. I went ahead and took a shot in the dark to see if they were having Beta testing and needed users. Well to my surprise, they were and it was starting a week from the day I messaged them. Well the instrument course was equally as great as the private pilot ground school and it was only in Beta testing. Took my written exam and got an 88, pretty good considering the course wasn't completely finished. I'm sure I could have gotten a higher score if I had been more patient and waited for more of the course to be released, but a good pilot is always learning so it doesn't stop with passing the exam. Hoping they let me keep my access to the beta until they finish so I can continue to learn while prepping for my oral exam.

Gold seal is simply amazing! The most informative and helpful course out there. I highly recommend.

I started pilot training in my 60s without any background in aviation, and I was never a math or science person. I read books, watched videos and completed a free online ground school. It was still difficult to retain all that information. I then tried GoldSeal, and the interactive way the topics were presented made it much easier for me to learn and retain the information. I was so happy to score a 90 on my FAA written exam.

Gold Seal is amazing. The lessons are great, interactive and to the point. I love the flash card sections for study aids too. The customer service at Gold Seal is amazing.

I was looking around for the best way to pass my FAA 107 test . I thought maybe YouTube, or an online school would work. (The FAA website was not something I wanted to try to navigate through) I checked a series of schools. (some cheaper than others of course ) I came across Gold Seal and for some reason it had an “I can trust this site” feel to it. I called the number first to confirm legitimacy and I spoke to Russ. He was incredibly knowledgeable , polite and very courteous. Very willing to help me. I signed up, went through the class. Along the way I called and spoke to other team members at the school and they were equally as knowledgeable and courteous!! I passed my 107 test on the first try today which is only 7 or 8 days after I signed up for the course. You’re getting $10,000 + worth of knowledge for 200. I’ve never been more pleased with an online experience!! Thank you !!!

This course truly complimented my flight training in a way that that made me understand the physics of flying and the importance of the knowledge required. I admit that when I started the training I was not confident that I would be successful in my training but as I got deeper into Gold Seal Online my attitude changed as my knowledge grew and also with the positivity that was relayed in all parts that I could do this. Thanks so much!!!

Enjoyed the course. Took the private pilot grounds school based on my experience with the Part 107 drone pilot ground school. Many topics carried over. My CFI did not sign up to be kept up to date on my progress and it showed since there was no coordination between my flight training and my ground school learning. Otherwise, no complaints.
