Meh. Not for me. I started off with a small investment just to see how it works & if it was legit. My investment was only supposed to be for 6 months & the return was supposed to be 9%. HA. What a joke. I fully understand that it can take longer than the stated time & I was okay with that assuming I was making 9%. Just got the payoff notice after over 10 months...and that 9%??? Was only 3%!!! What the heck??? Not at ALL what I was expecting. I can make higher profits in other pursuits. With the risk, Groundfloor just isn't worth a lousy 3% return.

The issue that I have found with this crowdfunding website is that the loans you are investing in do not pay interest until the loan has been fully paid off. Even a bank account will pay you monthly. And I have experienced the extension of my loans going out to months in the future. One positive note is that the representative Chris has been quite helpful when I vented my frustration.

Lost about 15% of my money. Dont expect to get all of your money back, definitely not within the maturity of the loan and for sure some will default and will never see your full money invested.

After waiting a few years, Groundfloor failed to pay me back in full for an "A" rated loan that I invested in. Whenever I inquired about it, they stated that these investments come with some associated "risks". Groundfloor pushes these investment opportunities by way of deceiving investors through loans that are rated way too high, etc. Beware of this platform.

What company doesn't have glitches. Builders, don't rip you house apart before the loan is secure. Stairs, They are refining software and you see a "gas pump" image and a chart simulator. They don't match. Your real balance is in your monthly statement. Relax. Make sure to sign up for auto- transfers and round ups. Painless and more interest. Trust me. Extentions. Has ANYTHING gone to schedule since COVID. No. What this is is an opportunity for me, who's dealt with property for 55 years, to invest in you. Flippers have enough to worry about. Permits, delays and shortages. I believe in you. For me, $10,000.00 after 1 year in my bank savings account gets $1.00. Through Groundfloor that could be $1,000.00. I have invested in Stairs, LROs and stock. I am supporting over 200 flippers. I want you to succeed. These guys are only going to get better.
