This was my first time consulting about CBD, for my pup. As I have never even tried pot, I was hesitant to look into CBD. My pup is about 13lbs and 5 years old. She has a small seizure lasting a few minutes, every 2-3 weeks. Usually in the middle of the night, but sometimes late afternoon/eevening. My vet said they do not have any studies on CBD at the moment, so she could not comment on it, but suggested a prescription with light side effects. But the side effect is basically a mood swing that makes her irritable and hungry. Have 2 young children, I don't feel this is the best option. That said, I LOVE our vet!!!! I'm not downing them, they are WONDERFUL!!!! I just wanted to look into an all natural option. I talked with Brandy twice, today, and she answered all of my MANY questions, very thoroughly!!! And probably I will probably have more tomorrow.... haha I appreciate that she understood how much my family and I care for our pup! She was up front with what she felt was the best approach and agreed it may need some tweaking. If my dog does not like the flavor, we can send it back. Which, I appreciate! I don't like sending stuff back, but I absolutely want to help stop or reduce the seizures!! Thank you!!! :-)
