Very rude receptionist. My son is 7.5 and they refused to cut his hair even though we are vaccinated. I gave him my mask and waited outside. The hair cut lady was nice but all the other people were rude and demanded i leave. I reminded them that my son is under age of the the initial guidance for masks. The new guidance says that vaccinated people do t need to wear them. Ridiculous!

If I could give them zero I would-worst haircut ever. I asked for my hair to be layered all over-she just did the length and that’s it-I got home and trimmed it up myself. The haircut took 10 minutes for $15 rip off. They cut it just enough where it looks like they did more than they did-I’m going to a salon next time-don’t waste your money

My mother and I recently went to great clips in Jackson Michigan to get hair cuts and I truly believe I’m actually being generous giving them even one star. We were both very unimpressed with our hair cuts, costumer service, products, and return policy. I was sold a heat treatment for my hair to use with straight iron and when I used it realized it’s hairspray which I will never use. I went with my receipt and was told due to covid they weren’t doing refunds. Needless to say we won’t make this mistake again. Save yourself the heartache and pay the extra cash for a quality stylist.

I have been a customer of Great Clips in Murrells Inlet South Carolina for about six years, always got adequate cuts but no problems for the most art. I had to go home after and shower to get rid of neck hair and not really a problem. last haircut got a stylist that was amazing I'm (not good with names)Waited about 18 minutes for online checkout today and when I got called I politely asked if I could wait for the lady who did my hair last time that she was great. Stylist got an attitude then said others are waiting and you can't ask for a stylist, they don't work that way!! I said I didn't mind I would wait as long as it takes until she was available.In a couple of minutes another stylist came and called my name (possibly manager?) I told her the same story that i really liked that lady and would wait no problem and I was told "You take who we give you or you don't get your haircut today!!"I said thank you and left. Went in to get hair evened out since I was working on growing it out, the lady cut my bangs WAY too short. I went back a week later to cut it because I decided not to grow it any longer, got a different girl and she absolutely butchered my hair!

I recently got my haircut by the manager at Great Clips in Gettysburg Pa Salon, showed her a pic of how I wanted it (chin length Bob with lots of layers) what I got was butchered up mess that resembles between a spike shag; nothing like I wanted. Now I have to regrow it out. I'll never have her or the salon cut my hair again.

I just had a haircut at Great Clips West De Pere Wisconsin located. The girl went over the notes in computer on my haircut . I confirmed and added how high to go with the clippers. She started to cut my hair and went all the way up to the top with the clippers. I tried to tell her but it was to far up already. Way shorter on sides then I usually go .when finished another girl told me she added notes for next time and offer $3 off $15 haircut. I told them I had a $7.99 coupon on my phone that they said they can't honor. Not a good experience

They used to be fairly decent, but since the pandemic they’ve gone waaay down hill. I’m not even certain they hire licensed beauticians anymore, certainly not skilled ones. I’m mystified by the ‘chop off your hair with a razor philosophy’. I had my hair cut today, and even though I’d shown her a picture of exactly what I wanted, it was obvious she had no idea how to do it. It’s a simple pixie cut. She razored the back, and then would cut my hair for a minute or so randomly, stop, and then say ‘doesn’t that look better?’ NO, it’s choppy and you’ve hardly done anything. But, how critical can I be to someone who just doesn’t have the skills to do anything. I didn’t complain, just guided her the best I could. But I don’t need to pay someone else $16 + tip for something I could have a family member do at home for free. Look, if your a guy with short hair who just needs a trim every few weeks, great clips is for you. Otherwise, stay far, far away. I’ve gone to three different ones in my area, and they were all bad. You might luck out occasionally with a skilled stylist, but it’s a crapshoot at best. Don’t waste your money.
