I went to the Oak Forest location which I always go to. Lavina was rude. Never said a word when I first got there. I told her don't touch the back and half inch on the rest. As she was chomping on candy or gum she immediatly cut the back off. Then proceeded to cut an inch off the rest as she was bad mouthing another employee that was working next to her. I have been going there for years and never had a bad experience. The employee she was talking about, Bridget, is my favorite. Terrible experience.

They need to listen to what people want find to their hair.
I went to get my haircut and I always get the same haircut that I always do. When I got home and washed it, I realized one side was longer than the other. So, I went back a few days later. So, yesterday I returned to get it fixed. She keep on cutting my hair. By the time she was done, I had a boys haircut. (I'm a female). I'm so upset. It's going to take months for it to grow out. They really need to pay attention to what people want done. They need to listen to their customers instead of rushing through it

Horrible quality haircuts
Honestly I’ve been going here since I was 10 and it’s always been really bad, today my visit is the worst I’ve ever had and it’s my breaking point, I’m never coming back

Like honestly….
I have been going to Great Clips because they usually know the general idea of the haircut I want without me having to explain everything from scratch. It’s been reliable enough that I kept coming back. Unfortunately, this visit completely changed my opinion.
My stylist, Grace (also known as Blue), failed to round out the side of my haircut, leaving it noticeably uneven. I have never, in my life, had to walk back into a barber shop or salon to ask for my haircut to be fixed. It was embarrassing and frustrating.
To make matters worse, she never showed me the back of my head with a mirror or asked if I was satisfied before finishing the appointment. That’s one of the most basic parts of a haircut and would have caught the issue before I walked out.
I’ve trusted Great Clips because of the consistency, but this experience completely failed me. It cost me extra time, caused unnecessary frustration, and I’ve lost confidence in coming back. Unfortunately, you’ve lost my business.
I’m also leaving this review to warn other customers to pay close attention if they’re assigned a newer stylist. Before you leave the chair, make sure you’re shown the back of your head and inspect your haircut carefully. I hope management takes this seriously, because this experience fell far below the standard I’ve come to expect from Great Clips.

Not a layered look
Asked for a pixie cut, but did not want my hair around ears cut out. Was informed that it would not be a pixie cut then. So the stylist cut some layers, trimmed the bang area, blew it half dry and was done in less than 10 minutes. Had to ask for a mirror to see the back,

Not a child friendly place
I’ve been to Great Clips in Redmond about five to six times and given the exact same instructions each time, yet somehow I leave with a different haircut every visit. Consistency and attention to detail seem to be missing. What really made the decision for us, though, was how my son and wife were treated. The staff often came across as impatient and dismissive, and whenever a haircut didn’t turn out right, the blame was placed on “the way his hair is” rather than taking responsibility. As a parent, that is unacceptable. Because of how my child was treated, we will not be coming back.

Regret I wasted time and money here
Went in for two cuts, for myself and my 10 yo. We both asked for simple curtain bangs and long layers, and provided photos for reference. My daughter's stylist took approximately 5 minutes and cut exactly nothing. No layers, no blending. Ok fine. My stylist forgot my bangs completely, then hacked some in after I reminded her. Nothing is even or blended. Worse still, she started implying that my kid is poorly behaved (because I mentioned hairwashing is a struggle for her 🙄) and then she started (not so) "subtly" asking "what nationality" my child is. WTF?? Will definitely avoid any Great Clips in future, it simply isn't worth it, and I ended up having to make last minute appointments anyway, which I had been trying to avoid as we are traveling in the afternoon. Ugh.
