The worst customer service! My 80 year old grandmother who recently suffered a stroke walked in for a haircut and was told that she had to make an appointment online and she told them that she didn’t know how to do that if she could wait if they can squeeze her in. They were irritated and said fine. Then after a little over an hour she had told them she had to run to her appointment with her doctor but she would be right back. She went back after about 45 minutes, she proceeded to wait for about 2 and a half more hours before they closed and basically kicked her out and said “sorry we didn’t have time to squeeze you in” That was just plain mean!!!! Why make her wait for almost 4 hours in total and then not even serve her. My poor grandma barely gets around because of her health and then to be treated like she doesn’t matter, her time doesn’t matter, is so upsetting! BBB has been notified!

I came to this salon previously to get cuts for long hair, but warning if you are coming for a styled hair cut. I came in after covid to get a long textured bob, and they put to many choppy layers on one side. I came back in to get it fixed, and she put more layers in which was even more choppy. It was completely uneven from one side to the other and looked bad. I came back in for a third time, third sylist, and he gave me a "Karen" cut. I had a photo, I told him what I wanted, and I told him exactly how much to take off. I even took my fingers and showed him in the front and back where it needed to start in the front and end in the back. I am very unhappy, this will take me 2 months to grow out so I have enough hair in the back again. I will NOT be going back to Great Clips.

Knoxville location at 113 Moss Grove Blvd. I signed in on line from home, pulled in parking lot and was waiting because my wait time on line kept going up and down and a few minutes later watched a “Little House on the Prairie” family unload from a van.. after a few minutes I went in to see where I was, my name was top of list.. but because the family has kids and told the workers the on line wasn’t working, I got bumped behind two of their kids.. no supervision; the kids were kicking a ball around in waiting room hitting the walls, chairs and other customers waiting. Did they stop it from happening, Nope! Then the hairdresser decided to take photos of the “Little House on the Prairie” family.. total zoo, will not go back! If I could rate a -1, I would.. need a manager who does their job

Took my daughter in for a cut. She has very long hair and wanted some kind of style to it, as it's all one length. We asked for face framing layers and curtain bangs. We even showed a picture of what we wanted. What did we get? 1 layer in the back 1.5 inches above her long hair. And the bangs?! Lawdamercy! Remember in the 90s we'd cut those two little side pieces to fall on either side of our face when we wore a ponytail? Yeah, something like that. Literally 1/4 of an inch wide and called them curtain bangs. She was scared to go back in and ask her to fix them, so I did what any other mom would do to help her little girl. I watched a Brad Mondo video and handled business and it looks FANTASTIC. No thanks to Oxford Great Clips.

This was the last time I’ve been to a Great Clips Salon. The hairdresser was very rude and condescending and didn’t listen at all to how I wanted my haircut. I had long grey hair, yes, grey because I am older, but not elderly, and there is no reason to treat people like this at any age. And I imagined a sassy A-line Bob as a cut , which would still be long enough, so I could grab it all in a ponytail when the summer heat gets unbearable. Right from the get-go the “specialist” insisted that this would be difficult and bobs cannot be so long to fit in a ponytail. (Well I have seen it done many times on YouTube and Instagram) Then she demanded that I had to tell her how long I wanted it in the front. I tried to explain more, but was constantly interrupted by her, because she didn’t want to listen until her question was answered. I have had this type of haircut done several times in other places, even in once in Germany and every time they started in the back and move up to the front, while this lady wanted it the other way around. And was not interested in how long I wanted it in the back. She got more and more inpatient and rude in her mannerisms and I was close to throw in the towel and to just get up and leave. Now, back home I am regretting not having done just that. My hair is longer in the back than in the front, the opposite of what I wanted, no A-line in sight and no, she didn’t offer me a complete view with a second mirror at the end, now I know why. I payed $20 ($16 for the cut and $4 for a tip, yes I tipped her despite her unprofessional behavior, just because I am not a petty person) but ended up with a frumpy haircut and now I am contemplating on going to a “real” and professional hairstylist next week.

I only waited a short time and staff seemed nice. However, I received the WORST haircut I ever had in 66 years!! I was specific about what I wanted and did not want. When the stylist was finished I looked like a rat chewed my head!!! I have straight, fine hair and said I did NOT want any layers just a simple inverted bob. There are big chunks of hair cut everywhere with no rhyme or reason. I will have to wait at least 6 o 8 months for this to grow out. Thanks a lot Yulee Great Clips. Not. Do NOT get your hair cut here!

Terrible salon. Long wait terrible haircut shaved it when I got home. Never again

Horrible experience at the Holyoke, MA lower Westfield rd on June 3, 2022 @ 10:45am. It was like these people forgot how to hold a pair of clippers and scissors. The girl was shaking the entire time, had to be directed how to fade in a simple buzz cut. There was absolutely no interaction with any customers, the entire shop was silent the whole time. Just a horrible way to spend $25.
