Made an online appt at the gateway plaza mansfield ohio location and arrived at my appt time. Another person walked in as I arrived and when asked, told the lady checking people in if he made an online appt and he said no. She said he could just walk on back and then proceeded to ask me if I had an appt. I said yes and told her my name. She said she was sorry, she should have asked and now I'll have to "wait a bit". I waited for a few minutes and then left. While getting my hair cut just down the road at gamecuts,, I get a phone call to see if I'm coming back. I laughed, said no, and hung up.

I went for my haircut today. Had a picture on my phone of what I wanted. We talked about it I let her cut my hair. Then she hands me the mirror to look at it. I then asked her if she's going to put product in it and style it. As it was a new style for me, I didn't know how to style it myself. She expected me just to pay and walk out. It really looked terrible. I was going to go do some shopping, I sure didn't want to go looking like this. She went to go get the flat iron and told me it would be an extra $25 for her to style it. I said are you kidding me if I would have known that I would have never come here. Now I'm not going to know how to do my hair. So if you want a new style, don't go to Great clips. I will never go back there.

Do not go here if you like your hair. She butchered my hair. Didn't listen to what I asked for or didn't know how to do it. It's too much to write here and I can't include photos, but trust me, don't go to 10706 Ironbridge Road, Chester VA 23831. I am a regular Greatclips customer at many different other locations.

Hello 7/8/22 7/20/22 8/4/22 We are DENIS and CAROLYN HORMAN-BURKE 308 Person st Runnells,IA 50237 Tele 1 515 669 1834 We have been regular GREAT CLIPS customers for quite a few years, usually at the franchise in PLEASANT HILL,IA, and always leaving generous $tips. The week of july 1 2022 was an exception.My wife got an $85 perm at the franchise in ALTOONA,IA. Many locations have also started taking contactless payment methods like Samsung Pay and Android Pay. Unfortunately, most do not accept checks as a form of payment. Later that day she noticed a fairly large area at her right temple was turning a light yellow cast.Her 82 yr old hair is normally a light siver gray.The next day on saturday jul 2 the area was a more pronounced yellow. She stopped back into the GREAT CLIPS in ALTOONA,IA to make them aware of her problem. She was informed that it was not GREAT CLIPS problem ,and they had never seen such a thing,and they did not intend to rectify the condition in any way,and that the yellow was likely caused by some sort of her medications. I was sitting out in our car ,and when she returned and told me how she had been treated,I naturally became very irrate and went into GREAT CLIPS and let them know how I felt about their second rate actions .GREAT CLIPS informed me that I would have to leave the premises.That ,to me was not the solution I expected ,and they put me on the phone with a ‘manager’.who told me to settle down ,and another manager would be calling us on Tuesday july 5.The second manager did ,in fact call us tuesday jul 5 ,and basically repeated the very same dialog that was initially told to my wife on Saturday july 2 ,and the yellow area was my wifes fault ,and BTW my wifes follow up trim,in a few days, that is part of the perm cost of $85 would not be allowed,and that GREAT CLIPS would discontinue all follow up perm trims,now and in the future.This I considered to simply be a very spiteful and arbitrary action made by a representative of GREAT CLIPS to “get even” ,instead of diffusing the situation. My wife washed her hair 2 days later and the yellowing disappeared ,I suspect it was caused by perm chemicals not being completely and thoroughly rinsed during a perm step. The location next heb in Abilene was very rude They had a sign out there for 899 when I asked about it it's oh no that's that's why I don't know who I am grabbed it says 1899 for my haircut very upset very rude I've always had all cut my hair at this location they need They need help and I'd like to have 2 free haircuts for the unconvenience they gave me 2143564767 and my name is Jerry

worst cut ever. the stylist barely listened when I told her what I wanted. When I expressed disappointment at how short the cut is, she made excuses and did not take any responsibility for her mistake. Erika at Chenal shop in Little Rock did not deserve a tip. I won't be back.

Great clips Freedom square is the worst. Signed in online said 17 minutes. Then checked in at store said 20 minutes ok. Waited my turn 25 minutes. Was next then last person to walk through door, # 5 on list was taken before everyone in the store. Never never will I darkened that door again.

Today I went for my normal haircut and was told that Sabrina my hair cutter was no longer there. Yourga said she will cut my hair. She was not pleasant and had no personality. It was clear to me that she didn't want to be at work today. I explained what I would like done but she just didn't listen and did what she wanted to do anyway. It took he less than 5 minute to tell me she was done. I will not be going back to this place ever. Terrible results and very unfriendly person.
