Went to Great Clips in Stouffville Ontario this morning being Sept 26th/22....had a coupon...they had no idea of said coupon yet was printed off their website....nothing but a scam plus they had a very poor attitude...too many other hair salons that are much more honest.

Nope, don't do it
Asked for 2 inches of, next thing I knew there was 5 inches dropping off my head... Said I normally like it cut on the part, she said its better this way.... I should never have let her touch my hair. She said she had 25 years of experience... In what?

The app stinks.
I came in when the app told me that it was a 15 minute wait. Then several other people came in and checked in and my 15 wait became a 70 minute wait. Why use the app when you can’t plan your schedule?

Online check in is worthless
Online check in is worthless. Original 17 minute estimate (and I understand estimate is an estimate) was left in the dust as I sat in reception area for an additional 20 minutes beyond the estimate. Finally got up and left when someone else was called back despite my name being at the top of the list.

The Worst Experience of my Life Great Clips on Saxon Blvd, Deltona Fl. 32725
I brought my sons ( 5 and 6) in today for a haircut. One of them was taken care of by Joanne who was very rude and aggressive towards my child and me. We advised her we wanted a shortcut on the sides and a long length on the top as was shown in the picture on the wall. She began the cut by aggressively pulling on my son's hair which was above shoulder length and chopping it with the electric clippers. My son cried out several times in pain because she was pulling his hair so hard. His head was bobbing. There were long strands of hair on one side of his head in patches because of how wild and aggressively she was chopping it off. He was shriveled up in her chair from agony, which my son has never done before, ever. I politely asked her if she could be a bit more gentle as this is his first time getting a haircut with electric clippers. She ignored my request and continued to pull on his hair as she chopped it off in a very aggressive manner.
I tried to tell my son that it will be ok and that I was sorry she was being so aggressive as I saw his discomfort and emotional distress. She kept gaslighting him by telling him that she was not hurting him. I then proceeded to ask her to stop and if she could use the scissors instead. She then told my 6-year-old son, "I guess you're not getting the haircut in the picture." I told her to please stop. She stopped, rolled her eyes at me, crossed her arms, and said "I can leave him like this." I then asked her if she ever worked with children before and she said yes. I asked her if she was okay and if there was an issue with her cutting my son's hair. She ignored me and continued to cut his hair in an even more aggressive manner. Needless to say, my son's haircut came out uneven, not what we wanted, and he had red marks on his neck and his neck was sore the next day from her pulling on his head so aggressively.
Meanwhile, my second child was being taken care of at the same time by Barry. Barry made my son feel so comfortable. He cut his hair exactly how he wanted and my son was so happy, laughing, and having a great time with Barry. Barry provided above and beyond excellent customer service and my son's haircut came out beautifully. It was like watching a training video on how to treat a client and how not to treat a client. It was the worst experience of my life.
Barry tried to assist the situation by explaining that some kids for the first time are a bit uncomfortable with electric clippers. He showed me his clippers to trim the sides and I stated to him that I thought it was an amazing tool to use for trimming; because they were small and made minimum noise. Joanne asked Barry to use them and gave a smug remark stating that his clippers “sucked and not good.”
I was appalled by this stylist's attitude, demeanor, and treatment of not only my child and me but of her attitude towards her coworker. My boys and I were so excited to get their haircuts and looking forward to a great experience at Great Clips because they had such an amazing time getting their first haircuts when they were younger at a more professional salon.
My heart was broken by the way my son was being treated and I’m so disappointed and sad. Instead of leaving satisfied, I left this place feeling like I should have done more to protect and advocate for my son from this disrespectful, unprofessional, and rude woman. I will be contacting the BBB as trying to find a resolution to this issue has fallen on deaf ears. This woman needs to be held accountable for her actions.

I've been to Great Clips twice
I've been to Great Clips twice, each time I've checked in online and they've given me a time I go in at that time and I get told oh there's going to be a 30 to 40 minute wait no I checked in for a certain time that's when I want to be in I don't want to have to wait even longer so my rating for Great Clips if I could it will be a negative one
