Do not expect a good haircut here!! My hairstylist moved out of the state recently and I was in need of a cut for my long hair. I went to the Dewitt Great Clips on US-27 and waited my turn to go back. There were two stylists and both were busy so I waited for the next available. I clearly stated that I wanted my hair to hit just below my shoulders and even laid my finger in the place where I wanted it to be when the cut was completed. Right away she started cutting the back of my hair and I immediately stopped her and reminded her that I wanted the length to hit where I had already pointed to on my shoulder. She affirmed it but kept cutting and needless to say my hair barely even hits my shoulders!! She did not clarify or even take the time to really listen to what i was askig of her. I was not happy to say the least and even told her that it was WAY shorter that I had requested. she tried to make light of by saying she liked how the sides looked and wondered what I did to get it to look like that. I told her I let it grow out and it grows like that! Now I can’t even pull my SHORT hair into a ponytail or do anything with it to make it look good. I will never use this company again for a haircut!! So disappointed and am kicking myself for ever going to this place!! I even emailed the company letting them know my concern to which they responded that someone would be in touch with me from that store location. It's been two weeks now and I have heard nothing from the store manager.

Online check in doesn’t work properly. Says 4 minutes then a minute later 15 then a walk in goes ahead of me??!

I made a online check in, after completing it showed me 8 minutes and i was the 1st inline and to go to salon, got there at 9:30 the doors were locked, checked again online it showed 15 min , I waited until 10am checked online it said 38 minutes, door was still locked lights were on, to bad because they lost out on a 20% tip because that's what I always do, went to fantastic sams instead fast professional service

I went to great clips off Coit Road in Frisco Texas the hairstylist was grossed out that I have a growth on my head one from a was sting. Once a fatty cell that grows under the skin she had to go get gloves on to finish cutting my hair and she didn’t do a good job. I felt that I had to get out of there cause I felt so disrespected.

I had an absolute terrible experience at great clips normal Illinois tyra butchered my hair I complained got a refund I am a disabled man I showed how shaky I was and Tyra could not contain herself with a huge smile thinking it's funny that I'm disabled and can't lift a glass to my mouth

guy said he knew how to cut an undercut, but he chopped away and hair got 4 inches shorter than a trim and it was 6 inches shorter all arround the middle so i have a round spot on head that is way shorter and frizzes in center of my head and the right side is shorter than the left and back is way longer. Worst hair cut of my life. It will take months for the short part to catch up to the longer length. I will have to go somewhere to get it even out so I don't look like my head is tilted to 1 side. Will never use great clips again....it's more like shi.....t clips.

I went to the Great Clips in Ellicott City, MD with a coupon that I found on Facebook. When I walked in the door, I showed them the coupon and I asked them if I could use the coupon there. They said I could. When I checked out, the coupon did not work. The people on duty said they could not do anything about it and I had to pay full-price. I have not been back since. Their coupons are too confusing. It is not okay to tell a customer they can use a coupon and then refuse to honor it. I have decided to just go to the local beauty school. It is one low price and I do not have to worry about whether or not my coupon will be accepted.

I’ve been going to this great clips for years. I’ve noticed a lot of turnover over the years. I got the WORST haircut ever!!! I had to go home and fix it myself! The girl who said she was the new manager was rude, and seemed to be in a hurry although there wasn’t anyone else in there! She didn’t ask any pertinent questions about what I wanted, and was offended when I told her it was uneven!! Will never go there again as long as she’s manager!!!
