No response from Grammarly to an email challenging why they charged my credit card for a £120 subscription that I did not agree to.

I tried out Grammarly’s Pagiats Checker as a free trial. It returned completely inaccurate results, claiming that my bibliography, table of contents and list of figures contained plagiarised material. This is definitely not correct. The AI detection feature also failed to provide any useful information, and the rephrasing of these passages resulted in nonsensical sentences. I expect an immediate refund of this unexpectedly high charge, which was made without prior notice.

Not trustworthy. They will hold back refunding money if you give them any and want to cancel. Best to go else where and not do business with them.

I feel I've been cheated. I only used it once on a trial and they have withdrawn £120 from my account. And to add to my dissatisfaction the suggested changes to my writing were incorrect.

I used it only once. The program is useless and good for nothing. Then I had trouble cancelling it. In the meantime, they withdrew money from my account. When I finally managed to cancel it, instead of refunding the money, they informed me that I could still use it for another month, which is useless to me and I don’t want it. This is the worst company ever.

Terrible product and customer service. The product does nothing more than catch basic typos—a feature already built into any free word processor. But it interrupts the writing experience, constantly popping up dialogue boxes that obscure your view and distract you from finding your thought. It’s a nightmare. I have tried to uninstall and unsubscribe multiple times and it won’t go away. It feels like a virus at this point. And there’s no way to contact customer support. They just bury anything helpful. After seeing such terrible reviews online, I’m convinced this company is a scam.

I would not recommend this company. The business practice of automatic billing without notice is ridiculous. No responses from customer service when asking for a refund make it worse. BEWARE - your hard-earned money should be used elsewhere.
