Grammarly is no longer a helpful tool
Grammarly used to be a helpful tool, but the current desktop app is so broken it’s basically unusable. It constantly lags, crashes, and forces you to copy all your work into a web browser just to get anything done. It feels like the company is cutting corners and shifting the burden onto users instead of actually supporting or fixing their product. For $120 a year, that’s completely unacceptable. There’s no real tech support, no sign of proper bug testing, and no care for the user experience. It’s clear they don’t value their paying customers. Avoid at all costs — there are better, cheaper, and more functional alternatives out there.
