GradimagesReviews of gradimages.com

We are extremely disappointed in the quality of the images, my graduate wears eyeglasses and there is a huge flash reflection in both lenses making her look as if she has 2 white glowing golf balls as eyes. The proof images are so blurred and covered in watermarks so as to eliminate the possibility of unauthorized copying that there is no way to discern whether or not the images are acceptable to begin with! Grad Images (now owned by Balfour) advertises 100% satisfaction. The images they provided in my order totaling $85.71 are an embarrassment and have ruined the otherwise joyful experience of graduation. I have requested a FULL refund including shipping and tax. Their response, "any alterations to the images would have to be made at time of order, we do not refund shipping fees". My communications directly to Balfour who now owns GradImages have gone without response. Full restitution at no additional expense to me is the only acceptable outcome. I do not recommend this business based on misrepresentation of product and poor customer service. I advise to use an entity such as Google Images or Shutterfly to produce your own images taken with care and appreciation for the subject!

Two photos were supposed to be taken at graduation. They could only find one. I talked with customer service multiple times and they kept saying they were investigating. They would give me the name of someone who would contact me but no one ever did. After 3 months of multiple calls to customer service, I gave up, realizing they must have only taken the one photo, so I ordered that photo to have that memory. The photo is good but the lack of having the 2 photos that were supposed to be taken and their terrible follow up on customer service is worthy of just 2 stars.

This is a professional blackmail company. Any school district, college or university that colludes with this kind of corruption should be sued and prosecuted for playing with helpless parents’ money. Class action lawsuits ? Interested let me know. And we can pursue together. Concerned parent.

Would rate negative if i could. Spams your email once you sign up. I wish I never provided them my email address

I placed my graduation photo order on June 26th, fully expecting it to arrive well before my dorm move-out date on July 15th. Instead, I had to wait an entire month for my items. When the shipment failed to arrive by July 10th, I called customer service. The first agent promised me free expedited delivery due to the severe delay. However, when I called back on Monday to confirm, a different agent completely went back on that promise. They told me I had to wait for the package to be delivered to my old dorm address (which would take two weeks) and then wait an additional week for it to be rerouted. This makes absolutely no sense.I had to call a third time two hours later just to find a competent agent who finally honored the free delivery. While I am glad the last representative fixed the issue, the overall experience was unacceptable. Having to call multiple times to fix their logistics mistake and dealing with contradictory policies is completely unprofessional. A one-month wait for graduation photos is ridiculous. Avoid this company if you need your photos delivered reliably or on a deadline.

I would give negative starts if i could. They spam you with emails from graduation them deliver overpriced photos that look the same. $160 dollars for 4 digital photos, only 2 unique ones really, and 2 print outs THAT I DID NOT EVEN RECIEVE. I will be demanding a refund and a chargeback if not possible, do not waste your time on these scammers

I cannot recommend GradImages based on its pricing model. The prices are excessive, especially for digital files. I was quoted CAD$50.99 for a single digital image and CAD$114.99 for the premium digital download package. What makes this particularly frustrating is that these are the official graduation photos taken during convocation. Students have no realistic alternative if they want those specific images, so the company is effectively selling a once-in-a-lifetime product to a captive audience. I understand businesses need to make a profit, but charging over $50 for one digital photo and over $100 for a download package is difficult to justify. It left what should have been a positive graduation experience feeling like an attempt to maximize revenue from graduates rather than provide fair value. I chose not to purchase any photos because I could not justify the cost. I hope GradImages reconsiders its pricing model and that universities take affordability into account when selecting photography vendors.

First of all I find it disturbing that public high schools hire this company to take photos of graduating kids and then selling them at very high prices. I received multiple emails from them trying to sell prints. I emailed several times and got no reply, then I got an automated generic reply that was irrelevant. When I finally heard back from a human (Alejandra) again she just repeated their policy and ridiculously high prices ($51 just to download two images, with no prints). That makes no sense, those pictures take space in their computer memory, and generate no revenue. It would be much better to at least let parents or students download them at reasonable prices, maybe $10 per image. That way they'd increase revenue and provide services to the community, instead of acting distant and greedy.
