I've purchased from Goulet dozens of times and I have never had any problems with any of my orders until today. I reached out with photos and had a resolution in less than 30 minutes. I have reached out with questions previously with great customer service. I have been happy with everything aspect of my experience with Goulet Pens.

Like others who have reviewed this company, I have occasionally been frustrated by the high shipping costs, and customer service is not always perfect. That said, this small company deserves real credit for doing something innovative that nobody else seemed to think of first: offering ink samples. Of course, they make a profit on the samples, but it is still a creative and extremely useful service for fountain pen users. They also provide a large amount of helpful information, including videos, comparison tables, and detailed product photos that make it much easier to choose inks and supplies. After some thought about the situation, I began to realize that perhaps the slightly higher prices are part of what allows them to provide that overall level of service and information. Just something to consider.

Paying top dollar for poor service and way expensive shipping seems like a bad business to me. Also, it suggests people just interested in your money with no concern about the customer. I’ll avoid them.

Bought an expensive pen ($730)for my husband’s birthday - it fell apart after only a few months. Requested them to take a look and repair or replace and we paid to ship the item back. They immediately sent an email saying the pen was not in a state of repair and implied we lied about the condition and without asking what we wanted to do - took the liberty to post it back to us. The only thing they stated was that we are responsible to pay for the shipment back and if we don’t pay we won’t get our pen back. Very poor customer service!! Never buying from them again.
