GoTranscript: the Go-To Guys in Transcription.
I would surely recommend this site to any of my friends. No doubt about that. The whole process is almost automated, which helps since everybody is busy enough already, but just when you need a human touch, it's there and it's responsive. No system is perfect and those that acknowledge that their system isn't have an advantage right away, for they are honest enough to be looking for ways to improve theirs. There's always room for improvement. Change is the only constant. With a workforce that spans continents and countries, with varied expertise and ages it's the best place to find filtered quality talent. The turnaround time is not bad at all. And there is a willingness to be demanding quality final output. Professionalism is understood, catered to, and simply is a prerequisite with always an open and receptive mind for suggestions and recommendations. Given it's an open platform, there are can some issues with the newbie transcribers who think they can transcribe or edit well right from the get-go, but it's a job like no other which requires attention to details and thorough understanding and interest in any given subject matter. Something which can be acquired if one is patient and diligent enough. But I like how they are very careful about choosing their editors. There is no room for errors there. If something can be fixed, it must be fixed by the editor. In an ideal internet based workplace GoTranscript is your go-to guy for transcription.
