I've been working for this company for a few days, it's been a good time, plus I'm making some good money these days, pretty good service

Placing the order was a nightmare because they hadn't communicated internally about my institution paying instead of me. Once that was solved (took several years and several attempts to communicate with them), I placed my order. The 5 day turnaround time is simply not true. It's false advertisement. It's been 9 days and they have made about 20% progress on my order. When I asked, they told me to email someone who hasn't replied to my multiple attempts to contact them. Don't bother. Look for an alternative.

The translation quality was lacking. Specifically, it seems that Google Translate was used for most of the text, and then it was "refined" a bit by a human translator (about a quarter of the sentences are exact matches with Google's result, and most appear to have the same "base"; there are enough differences I can't prove it though). For some use-cases, I suppose this could be acceptable; but to me this makes the translation not really useful, as I could do most of this "refining" myself. What I'm interested in from human translators is the integration of "natural language phrases" in the target language (which machine translation lacks in), and precise translation of passages that are "ambiguous" from the machine translations. In the short document I had translated here, the refinements were less substantial than that. Anyway, it was unsatisfactory for me. That said, if you don't need precision for your translation task, it is maybe worth considering due to its low cost (it's the lowest I've seen in the field: 6c per word, versus the standard 10c+). It does appear to be better than a straight-up Google Translate result -- offering a clean-up of the grammar and such. Also, this is outside of my own experience, but it's maybe worth noting that when I scanned through the other reviews of this site here on Trustpilot, a lot of the positive reviews seem very suspicious. For example, there is a review that is an exact copy of another review, except with a "repeat" of its first three words (presumably to avoid automated duplicate-detection). Review1 (title "I like this"): "I like this. Is very nice and easy to find" Review2 (title "I like this"): "I like this I like this. Is very nice and easy to find" Also, many of the 5-star reviews are extremely brief, and from people with only one review placed. Personally, this seems very suspicious to me; however, I am leaving this aspect out of my star-rating, since it's not part of my own experience with the company.
