Although I just started working for GoTranscript, I was surprised with the speed and commitment the staff provides all of the information one may, and does need. In addition, I feel that with these people everything is simple, but strict and straight forward, in order to ensure quality service.

I think the title pretty much says it all. I started working for them two years ago and I have never had any problems. The manager is always willing to help, give advice, adjust rates so that everybody's happy. Live support is there around the clock, except maybe Friday and Saturday nights, but that doesn't mean that any email we get remains unanswered. This is no place for people who wanna make a lot of money for very little work. We don't hire based on quantity, we hire based on quality. So if you're having a bad day and you wanna take it out on someone, our company email is not the place to do it. We're not asking you to spend 8h online, we just ask that when you make a commitment to work on a file, you will actually finish it on time. I'm not gonna brag about my monthly income, all I can say is that it's 4 times the income I got at my previous job. I don't see any downsides and I have brought many of my friends to work here. They're still grateful for that.

I have spent much time finding a perfect website to work for and i found it. The only downside is that pay is a bit on the lower end, BUT it is for a reason. Let me explain some things to those that complained, and i wouldn't had to if they spent some time working for other websites. Websites like Rev and WayWithWords do pay considerably more, but you also have to work considerably more. They expect you to make a client-ready transcripts, but this isn't the case with S2T. Don't get me wrong, you can't slack off and post bad transcripts, but they don't require you to beat your head around unintelligible words - editors are there to do that part if you can't. Deadlines are the most lenient on the whole transcription scene. You get 12 hours for most of the files, and the maximum file length is 20 minutes. You can even pick a 5 minute file and still have 12 hours to work on it. Also, if you can't finish your transcript for whatever reason, you can simply return the job - no penalties as far as i know. Also, files with less ETA always pay more. When files are close to running late, they just increase the rates and people finish then - no pressure, nothing. You can work at your own pace and start as a beginner and improve over time. You have no chance to get accepted into higher paying websites without transcription experience and perfect English skills. Acceptance test isn't easy, but it isn't harsh and stupid like the ones that higher paying websites have. I am satisfied with this website and you will be too.
