GoSkydiveReviews of goskydive.com

Terrible customer service so far. I booked a skydive as a gift and, within ten minutes of completing the booking and payment, realised the person it was for exceeded the weight limit. It was an honest mistake on my part. Around 20 minutes after booking, I emailed to explain the situation and request a refund. I was told I would only receive a partial refund, with a £50 deposit being retained. I disputed this and asked for the circumstances to be considered, but all I received were emails stating that the matter had been escalated, followed by another email confirming the partial refund and asking how I would like to receive it. There was no meaningful discussion or consideration of the context. I have also spoken to the team by phone and requested that some discretion be applied, but I feel like I am hitting a brick wall. The booking was made weeks in advance, so no skydive slot has been lost or prevented from being sold to someone else. Given that the cancellation was requested within 15 minutes of booking, I find it difficult to understand how retaining £50 can be justified. Very disappointing experience and customer service.

Probably the worst customer service I have ever received ! Including customer service themselves ! Phone lines closed when they should be open and tried for 3 weeks to speak to someone. The man I eventually spoke to (Josh) was the most patronising and condescending person I have ever spoken to. He didn’t answer a single one of my questions and just referred me to reading the email he was going to send. All I wanted to know was what time I was booked in for and he wouldn’t tell me ! I spent the best part of nearly £400. Absolutely terrible. There is more to say but I will wait to see what my jump experience is like.

Proceed with CAUTION, they can leave a sour taste of dishonesty.

Very disappointing experience I bought my husband a 15,000ft skydive voucher with Go Sky Dive in early 2025 as a gift (£289). Since then, we have had multiple attempts to book, with cancellations along the way. After contacting our bank when we were unable to get a refund, Go Sky Dive continued to contact us to rebook. My husband booked again for Sunday, paid an additional £10, and we travelled to Swansea expecting the jump to go ahead after receiving confirmation messages. On arrival, after waiting at the airfield, he was told he would not be allowed to jump and was told to contact head office — which was closed. When he eventually spoke to head office, he was met with an extremely unhelpful and rude response and was told he would not be able to complete the skydive. We were left feeling completely let down. The company still has the original £289 payment, despite the skydive never taking place, and the communication throughout has been extremely poor. This has been a very disappointing experience, not just because of the money, but because of the time, travel and the way we have been treated as customers.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointed with my experience with GoSkydive. I booked a skydive for my sister but discovered she was unfortunately not physically able to take part. I contacted the company and cancelled the booking within 24 hours, with the jump date still a long way off. Despite the immediate cancellation and the fact that the slot could easily be rebooked, GoSkydive refused to refund the £50 deposit. I appreciate that businesses have terms and conditions, but in my opinion, keeping the full deposit in these circumstances is unreasonable and unfair, especially when there appears to be no real loss to the business. I contacted customer services politely on more than one occasion, hoping for a fair and reasonable resolution, but the response was simply that the deposit was non-refundable, with no flexibility or goodwill shown. Potential customers should make sure they fully understand the cancellation policy before booking, as even cancelling within 24 hours may result in losing your deposit. Sadly, this experience has left a poor impression of what I expected to be a customer-focused company. This sticks to the facts of what happened and is more credible than an overly emotional review.

Terrible customer service. Rebooked dive 7 times over the last year and keeps getting cancelled. On one occasion I got INTO the plane, strapped to instructor and made to get out because the plane broke down before take off. Another was due to "air traffic". They then told me I had to pay to extend my voucher despite the fact it's THEM cancelling. Refusing the refund me. They've told me I need to sell my dive privately.. not my job. Customer service is shambolic. Do not book through these.

Booked a skydive for me and my partner as a birthday gift. Including a camera package for my partner. Total cost was £700. The date we booked was cancelled due to weather, understandably.. the 2nd time it was cancelled again due to weather. After this we decided the time we wanted to do it had passed and so requested a refund. This is when the problems really started. Point blank refused to offer any kind of refund. I spoke to the manager Josh who clearly uses chatgpt to send responses. Explicitly told me no refunds would be issued. Went ahead and claimed the money back through my bank, including deposit that I would have agreed to them keeping. Thank you VISA! I'm sure if we'd managed to have our jump this review would be a good one and would have been a great experience. Due to the way they treat their customers I was quite shocked at their response. Don't let them win. Claim through your bank. To the owner. I would highly suggest you give customer service training to your staff. Perhaps give Josh a course in customer service and management. He relies on AI which shows complete incompetence at his job. When someone has paid £700 to you, and they get nothing from it in return, don't refuse to offer any kind of refund as that is morally wrong. You have been reported to trading standards.

Wrong company to skydive with. If you bought a skydive voucher, contact your bank and request a refund—the chances of actually jumping are less than 50%. You can spend 3 hours driving to their airfield, then another 5 hours waiting for “good weather,” only to watch people who paid on the spot go ahead with their jumps. Eventually, they announce that the weather is “too bad” and the day must be rescheduled. Most people won’t waste another full day hoping to jump, and the company will then try to avoid issuing refunds. Go straight to your bank and report it as a service not provided. If enough people do this, their bank will close their account.
