I do not recommend using GoodDog to find a puppy or dog.
GoodDog does not in any way shape or form vet their breeders. We were communicating with a breeder who did not provide any health records on the mother of their puppies and stated she and the puppies were miniature dachshunds. The dad had an OFA result for his elbows and that was it except a screenshot of an embark result that did not show a dog's name so could have been any dog's result. We asked the breeder for records of the puppy being vet checked or the parent's health records and they sent us doctored results with no name on any of the embark results and a shot record from Tractor Supply as well as a shot record that showed the mom is 19 pounds. We asked multiple times before even getting that and asked about mom's description showing "miniature" and the breeder lied and said the mom was 16 pounds, when the vet record showed 19. But either way, miniature is max 11 pounds. The breeder then changed the profile for the mom to "miniature 16 pounds". The breeder said the litter wasn't even theirs and sent us to someone else. That person said they only take other forms of payment and not to pay on GoodDog even though GoodDog stated we weren't to pay anywhere else. Then they sent us the most ridiculous puppy contract I have ever seen and told us we would have to sign it. I shopped around and found that literally no puppy I looked at had a single health record for the parents. It is clear this is just a site for backyard breeders. I do not recommend using GoodDog to find a puppy or dog.
