UNRELIABLE AND UNETHICAL
Horrible customer service that does not respond to emails or answer phone calls. The company denies ethical preservation breeders but accepts doodle puppy mills. Profit is the priority for this company, not connecting puppy buyers to ethical breeders. Update based on Gooddog response: the team has not reached out regarding why inaccurate information was assumed/used in my application. We meet and exceed every one of Gooddog’s low requirements. Our health testing, based on parent club required testing and CHIC requirements, is “Excellent” according to Gooddog itself. This site’s screening process is entirely flawed and there is no priority of listing ethical preservation breeders.
Response from Good DogJun 8, 2026
Hi Erica, Thank you for reaching out. We’re glad that a member of our team has already been able to share more information about our Community Standards, Good Breeder Code of Ethics, and Policies, and how they may apply to your individual breeding program. As they shared with you in their communications, every breeder in our community must pass our screening process and meet or exceed our community standards, including our Breeder Code of Ethics and our minimum health testing requirements, before joining Good Dog: www.gooddog.com/standards-and-screening Based on the information you provided during our discussions with you, we determined that aspects of your program do not align with our current platform standards and policies at this time. Your commitment to Good Dog’s mission means a great deal to us, and we continue to wish you the best with your program. Warmly, The Good Dog Team
