chapel heights german pinschers breeder JH
Purchased a puppy & 3 months later work schedule drastically changed, spoke with breeder hoping to get advice, instead she ordered for my puppy to be returned. Promised to keep her. Instead, took her back, re-sold her and refusing any refund! Unethical business practice with no regard to customers!
Responde from Good Gog below unacceptable!
Partial refund was NOT issued by breeder!
No contract was signed where it stipulates refund issues.
Breeder violated her verbal agreement and re-sold the dog! Sustain no expense but got double gain.
If breeder will not provide full refund, next step will be to regulators.
Please advise breeder to follow breeder ethics.
Gooddog didn't assist, instead issued partial refund of the fees (for services that should protect buyers) to limit liability.
Unacceptable.
Breeder needs to take responsibility and refund money as she double dipped on this puppy.
Unethical breeder, be aware

Hi Yana,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re glad that our Care team has been able to work with you through this issue, including reaching out to the breeder on your behalf and partially refunding your payment. As our team shared with you, no refund terms were agreed to when you started working with this breeder.
At Good Dog, each breeder sets their own individual policies with buyers, especially around puppies that need to be returned to the breeder for whatever reason. We honor the policies that a breeder and buyer agree to, so we encourage puppy buyers to choose a breeder whose policies align with what they feel most comfortable with.
We hope this helps answer your questions, but please feel free to reach out to us if there is anything we can do to help, or if you have any questions or concerns.
Warmly,
The Good Dog Team

Schnauzer Ranch St George Utah
We got our puppy from the schnauzer ranch in Utah and when we picked up our puppy, he was full of urine and feces. Handed up in the hospital with parasites in his stomach and has been treated for the last nine days and was very sick. I was very disappointed to see that in a professional breeder that our dog was not handed over to us based, clean and in good health. I would not recommend this breeder and sadly disappointed that it cost us a lot of money.

Hi Julie,
Thank you so much for reaching out. We are so sorry to hear of your pup’s veterinary needs, but are glad to hear about the dedicated care you are providing. We’re glad that a member of our Care team has been able to connect with you and take the first steps to working through this issue with you.

Leave Good Dog
We have been part of good dog for a number of years. Sadly, the controlling of our money and only attracting bad buyers and scammers. WE used to have a wait list of 50 plus NOW we cannot even have a waitlist. Good dog was great when it started. Now NO!

Hi Jody,
Thank you for reaching out. We’re sorry to hear that you no longer wish to remain part of the Good Breeder community, and per your request on December 21st, we went ahead and closed your account with us.
At Good Dog, breeders are always in control of the funds they receive when collecting secure payments through Good Dog, and we guarantee they’ll receive every dollar they’re owed. Breeders can use payment on Good Dog without any fees, and can always decide when they’d like to request and receive puppy payments.
We hope this answers your remaining questions and continue to wish you nothing but the best with your program.

For over a month I tried to get the breeder to contact me for a visit. Only to be ignored because I wouldn't pay first. I think you passed judgement on me because of my scepticism about being scammed. After suggestion of neutral locations for safety and agreeing in several chats to pay through app. The lack of contact back screems SCAM, nobody I have talked to said it was good idea to continue my efforts, but I gave a long bit of time and effort to give all parties involved the benefit of doubt, only to be ghosted by breeder and received no help with the matter by good dog either. Thank God for my good decision to protect my money and demand that I see puppy before I pay. Good luck to all of you. I think you cheated Hershey out of a good home and I will visit a rescue in my area to find a dog as I have in the past with little to no problem at all.

GOOD DOG FAILS TO VET FRAUDS
I contacted a breeder and entered into an agreement to purchase a puppy after finding her on the Good Dog website. Halfway through the transaction the breeder informed me she was not on the site anymore and I made the 2nd payment directly to her. When it came time to pick up the puppy, after months of being sent photos and hand picking a name and taking off work for the day, the so called breeder changed the pick up location to a 12 hour round trip drive vs. 6 hours and then told me because I asked if we could stick to the original plan that I no longer deserved the puppy.
After searching the internet and knowing her address in Mio Michigan I found several alias names of kennels and complaints going back years.
Seems she has a history of keeping the "non-refundable" deposits and pulling out at the end.
I contacted Good Dog continually and they declined to help saying the deposit was in fact, non-refundable.
It was very disappointing to say the least. Heart-breaking for the entire family but made worse becasue I trusted the Good Dog site to have vetted this breeder.
They did not. And they refused to refund me the deposit which was made through them and they had access to - instead supporting the scam breeder.
I sent information showing previous complaints as well and made numerous calls. Nothing.
DO NOT TRUST GOOD DOG.
They have a great web site but don't actually do what they say and certainly DO NOT stand behind their clients when something goes wrong.

Hi Jeannie,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We understand that you had a difficult experience completing your scheduled puppy pickups, but we're glad our team was able to work with you through this situation.
As they clarified with you, in accordance with the breeder's contract, the payments you completed were non-refundable, although we’re happy to hear that the breeder did agree to partially refund you given your situation.
At Good Dog, each breeder sets their own individual policies with buyers, especially around whether a payment is refundable or non-refundable. We encourage puppy buyers to choose a breeder whose policies align with what they feel most comfortable with, because we do honor the policies that a breeder and buyer agree to.
We hope this helps answer your questions related to the non-refundable deposit you completed. Please feel free to reach out to us if there is anything we can do to help, or if you have any questions or concerns.
Warmly,

Doodle Dog Crush owner Brian McNitt is a scammer. Agreed to a price on a dog and meet with us with the dog and then totally ghosted us and left my mom devastated. He deleted all our messages so that I could no longer contact him. He was upset because I would not let him go to my mothers home to see where the dog would be living which my mom did not feel comfortable with. Paying a good price for a dog should be enough to know we will take great care of the dog. Highly disappointed.

Good Dog is an absolute joke of a…
Good Dog is an absolute joke of a company. When I first joined Good Dog as a breeder, I had a great experience the platform was easy to use, and overall a good experience. But I later then dealt with a breeder who has been arrested for animal cruelty charges, and who is awaiting the court trail for the case. This breeder has gone on a tirade to completely destroy the name and reputation of my business, I had provided Good Dog with all the proof of what this breeder was doing, once they sent in a complaint saying I stole dogs, which I did not. Even after the proof they told me it was not good enough and removed my account entirely. The fact that this company stands behind a breeder who they will NOT let sell puppies on their platform, but believe disproven lies is disgusting. There are two sides to every story, and there is plenty of proof on the internet of this breeder and what they have done, and yet Good Dog wanted nothing to do with the facts that had been given. This company is a complete joke and I’m extremely disgusted and disappointed with them.
Seeing as how Im unable to respond to your reply, I would like to see the specific community standards and policies I violated. I read over the standards, guidelines, & the code of ethics, no where in there did I see anything stating documentation was needed. so please point me in the right direction. You were provided all of the evidence and documentation that was needed, including documents from law enforcement. You as a company refused to look into any of it. Here is how you as a company violated your own standards and ethics: (remove space in the after www. And before . Com of each link to review)
1. “ While there is no “one size fits all” for what makes a breeding program responsible, we are able to use our community standards to evaluate programs consistently…screening process and meet or exceed our community standards before joining Good Dog. Here’s how we do it.” (https://www. gooddog. com/standards-and-screening)
- You did the screening process, as well as several messages along with an interview when I joined last summer. There was no issue with any of my program. You required NO documentation of any kind. You asked for pictures of the dogs and I provided that for.
2. “Accordingly, we continue to develop new policies and we note that our community standards, including our policies…are subject to continual revisions as new research becomes available.” (https://www. gooddog. com/standards-and-screening)
- This part of your community standard is stating that you can and will develop new policies per the dogs physical health. I would like to see where your new standards stated that I needed to provide the impossible paperwork you are saying I must provide.
3. “ When puppies are not owned by you or they are whelped and raised outside of your home, we have little visibility…Good Dog does not permit such puppies to be listed for sale…a core component of Good Dog’s Community Standards.” ( https://www. gooddog. com/good-breeder-center/what-is-good-dogs-policy-on-posting-litters-to-your-profile )
- Puppies were indeed raised in my home and proven to be owned by me. If they weren’t I wouldn’t have been able to post them. I would like the proof emailed to me that were not owned by me.
4. “ What does this policy mean for me?
In general, this policy will affect the listing of puppies that are not owned by you or are whelped and raised out of your home. This includes:…puppies from a dog you co-own that did not whelp in your care puppies purchased by you and you do not own the b*tch” (https://www. gooddog. com/good-breeder-center/what-is-good-dogs-policy-on-posting-litters-to-your-profile)
- No puppies posted on my good dog profile were imported from anywhere. ALL puppies were rais…She is my dog, and that proof was provided as well. Please provide the proof in an email to me that I purchased any of those puppies, imported them, they did not reside in my home, or I purchased said puppies from a b*tch I did not own.
