I am still waiting to hear from someone. I have no paper work, no phone call, no email and I don't know what is going on. Where is my money? Was it transferred?

I wish I could give negative stars. This is the most dishonest company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. On 7-27-23, I received at statement saying my account was worth $78,653.22. I called on 7-28-23 and told them I wanted to take my money out and put it somewhere else. They informed later via email that they would liquidate my account for $61,447.74. I called immediately and they told me you never get market value for your gold when you cash out!! What??!!! They are stealing $17,205.48 of MY money! I talked with my financial advisor. He said this company is a scam and doesn’t understand how they are still in business. Now, it is August 21, 2023. I still haven’t received the money that they determined they would allow me to have. Yesterday, I got an invoice in the mail for $150. This was the $100 that I paid in April plus a $50 late fee. The check I wrote in April was cashed. I’m not sure I will ever get my money if I don’t pay this fraudulent invoice for $150, although, I’m not sure I will ever get my money even if I do pay it. BEWARE!!!

Initially, things were working as planned and promised, plus verified us by email that our 401K rollover was in our GoldStar Co. account and verified by them, and I next registered with GoldStar Trust Co. to be able to check the status of our account and track the activity of said account. However, we then received a phone call from Katina @ GoldStar Trust Co. in TX., stating that they had scanned and emailed ALL of our account information, including our SSN's to the wrong address. NOT GOOD!! NOT HAPPY ONE BIT! ("measure twice, cut once"!) This is extremely unprofessional and them absolutely not paying attention to details, as your SSN's are your, so to speak, lifeline to everything about you and all of your personal information. Then Katina offered to waive the initial sign up fees to open our IRA 401K rollover and give us a LifeLock account for one year free. We DO NOT DO online banking because of all the hackers out there, as we are "old school baby boomer" people. So, the jest of this review is, SOMEONE ELSE has our SSN numbers!!! And that needs to be rectified, like yesterday, ASAP!! If this is done as quickly as possible and in a professional sincere manner to OUR expectations of what was promised by GoldStar Trust Co. up front initially, I will get back on here and edit this review. I will be calling Katina, @ GoldStar Trust Co. back today to quickly get this very important issue rectified TODAY.

Didn’t notify me that account could not be located at Merrill even though you had a statement. Tried to do TOA via wire which would have triggered an irs issue/distribution. Third time transfer was accomplished but LATE … a month after funds were available.

I have been trying to get a distribution from an IRA investment for a full week . GoldStar acknowledged 7 days ago they had received the cash, but claimed they were backed up. Now the distribution is supposedly being reviewed by "quality control " staff. i have asked to speak to a supervisor and was promised a call, but still waiting. Zero stars

My name is Wanda Williams and I lost 12,325 in a matter of months of opening my account. I thought gold was a safe investment.

Beware 1) I've never gotten a hold of a real person. You call and are put on hold then the call disconnects. 2) I submitted an application and closed my account a few months because I never transferred any money or accounts, but got billed for $475 of late fees plus paper statement fees.

No communication and hard to get in touch with them. Forces all communication through website and does not assist in making sure you have everything that is needed. Customer Service is very poor.
