Don’t come here with more than 4 people. Can’t push tables together in the front row and can’t sit in the back because it’s “reserved.” Like who’s it “reserved” for? Anyway staff is nice but rude and also kinda annoying. Every like 10 minutes someone comes over and asks “is everything good?” So yeah good luck.

The staff was very polite and professional. Visited the Golden Corral on Independence Boulevard, Virginia Beach, VA. The flounder was razor thin and tasted like a salt lick. The baked roll was thick and tough to chew. Not pleasant. Most of the other food was okay. The desserts were not good. The lemon meringue pie was not good. The was no crust, meringue and lemon portion of the pie tasted artificial and rubbery tasting. The soft serve cream tasted like fake ice cream.

Terra Haute location. This place really needs to b shut down. We paid 64 dollars for 3 adults. The food was old and dry. Our buffet in Illinois is way better then this. Nothing was fresh. Poor service and quality of food was terrible. The taco meat was so dry it looked like dog food. Now lets talk about the restrooms. Not clean. When I turned the sink on top wash my hands the whole faucet moved. The fire alarm was literally hanging off the wall. I would not recommend anyone to eat her. We got sick from this place. The silverware was terrible. Its old and had stuff caked on the knife. Pack saying clean and sanitized jus for u. Too be honest this place should be shut down. Lackluster for sure.

Dirty dishes that are supposed to be clean and creepy servers with atttitudes in the Merrillville store

On July 2nd 2024 our electricity went out around 4:30 pm. We kept getting notices that the electricity would be on in an hour or in 30 minutes. At about 7:50 pm we still had no power, so we decide to go to Golden Corral on Ridge Road in Wichita Kansas. As we walked in the door, I made sure to check the closing time, which was 9 pm. We walked in the door at 8:03 pm. When we went to pay, I told the cashier that we were both seniors and she said OK. The total came to $44 and change. We went to the salad bar and go our salad. While eating our salad I notice employees were starting to tear down the salad bar. We finished our salads and went to the hot food side. We returned to our table and had just started eating when our waiter came up to our table and asked if we would want any more from the hot food side as they were getting ready to tear it down. I looked at my phone and the time was 8:24 pm I said yes and stopped eating to go get a second plate. As I walked up to the hot side employees (who I am guessing had just clocked out) in uniforms and aprons were filling to go boxes on the customer side of the hot bar. I had to wait for 2 of them to get done so I could get what I wanted. I minute I got back to my table they started to tear down the hot bar. It was 8:32 pm. We left at 8:45 pm. At the time of us leaving there was still 6 customers still in the dining area. When we looked at our receipt it did not show a senior discount. I understand that people are trying to clean up so they can go home. But if your sign says you are open till 9 pm then tear down in my opinion should not start any earlier than 8:45 pm. My wife and I do not feel like we got a lot of value for our $44. If you are going to rush customer to eat maybe you should reduce the price after 8 pm. The wife and I have talked it over. In that area where this Golden Corral is located there are 5 other restaurants with-in a block walk. Not sure we'll be back. Kevin Mathis 316-249-3320

Friendly, clean , great variety!

I love Cat fish juFriday and so do a lot if people. So here is my problem You mixed the bone in with the regular fish. They put the bone in under the regular. You go to get some bone in and you have to move the soft fish and it gets broken all up trying to get to the bone in Why don't you have a pan for bone in and a pan for not bone in. Simple. Does this not make sense? Tell me if I am wrong.I just want to get my fish without starring in the pan and messing up the other fish. Thank you so much.

The cashier when you come in the door a young male 18/20 did not greet anyone in front of us nor did he greet us he told me the price $41.96 rudely I gave him my card the hand the receipt folded up with my card I said Thank you my guest said Thank you neither received a response We pick our table my guest had to get his jacket from the car because the dining room was so cold we wait for the waitress to comes she finally dose we gave her our drink order she wrote her name on our receipt and said if we need anything let her know we both got some food on our plates got back to the table and she brought our drinks we asked for silverware she made a comment yeah I guess your going to need that 2 or 3 minutes later she bring the silverware I had fried fish on my plate and shrimp a dinner roll and rice the rice was still pretty warm but not cooked completely the fish was soggy and cold the shrimp over cooked and hard looking at the color of the fried shrimp you could definitely tell it was 3 batches cooked at separate times the dinner roll was cold but still good I decided on trying the fish a new batch was cooked while it was hot and the taste was great it could have stayed in the grease another 45 second to a minute to give a little more crisp (I cook all the seafood at a mom and pop restaurant in a near by state I know my seafood haven't seen the waitress I go to the dessert bar it looked like it hadn't been refreshed in hours very few items of each dessert left I decided on ice cream I chose the vanilla and chocolate swirl it was plain chocolate so I added a dab of Vanilla on top added some hot Caramel and wanted hot fudge it was empty oh there's the waitress my guest flagged her down for drinks we'd been needing for at least 20 minutes I grabbed a few of the blue gummy fish they had next to the ice cream unfortunately they were the best part of the meal my guest had soggy okra uncooked rice roast beef with hardly any flavor a chicken breast that was good however the skin was to crunchy and cooked in old grease this is our second experience with Golden Coral in the last 3 months 2 different states lousy service and I've had better food out of a hospital Cafe Get it together GC your loosing the game
