The whole project is wonky
The whole project is wonky. The handle bars/forks are warped. The sprocket/drum is out around and not true, and the center hole wasn’t big enough to fit around the wheel hub, which kept the sprocket from sitting flush. I get it’s just a mini bike project, but for the price I expected better.

Sorry to hear... that Mini Bike kit has been sold since 1961. It's a great Father and Son project. If any parts have an issue, just complete a Help Request to get a replacement. If your looking for a better minibike, stick with the American Racer 215. Heavy duty brake, sprocket, frame, Adult size
