WARNING: Deceptive Practices, Breach of Contract, Abandond Property, and Severe Damage
WARNING: Deceptive Practices, Breach of Contract, Abandoned Property, and Severe Damage Do NOT hire Flex Moving & Storage / Flex Storage Inc. / flexgo. I am a 61-year-old 100% disabled female Veteran living alone. Flex took my property, charged me the absolute maximum amount, and failed to deliver as promised. I was left stranded for 10 days without my medical supplies, food, drinking water, or clothes. I have lost 10 lbs and find it difficult to eat since they refused to deliver my property. I told them multiple times that I am disabled and was in desperate need of my medical equipment and supplies. I asked, multiple times, if they could use their pickup trucks to shuttle my property to my home as promised. They refused my requests. Here is what consumers across every location need to know: • Bait-and-Switch Pricing Under Duress: My original binding quote was $2,515–$2,725 with a 5% discount after I insisted on updating the articles list. On move day—knowing I had to be out of my apartment—Flex sent unprepared drivers who refused to pack. They canceled my move date and forced me under extreme duress to sign a revised estimate of $4,249–$4,582 (max $5,957) just to reschedule. • Day-Laborers & Incomplete Loading: Instead of professional movers, Flex broadcasted the job on an app and sent day-laborers who did not know each other, had no lead supervisor, and left hours early. They failed to pack or load all of my property, leaving items behind at my origin apartment. • Failure of Destination Delivery: I specifically confirmed prior to booking that Flex could handle the steep incline to my new mountain home using 4WD trucks and 14' trailers. Despite a signed Bill of Lading requiring delivery to my address, Flex refused to complete the route and abandoned my property at an off-site dirt lot to get their trailers back. I had to pay a third party out of pocket to finish the delivery. • Unauthorized Maximum Billing & Broken Refund Promises: Flex automatically charged $5,957 (the absolute cap) from my account despite incomplete work. Multiple representatives verbally promised a "full refund" on recorded calls, but customer service later backtracked to a mere 10% discount, hiding behind website terms. • Severe Heat & Food Damage: Flex parked the sealed trailer containing my perishable and pantry food (meats, cream, butter, 100+ canned goods, oils) at their Phoenix warehouse for 10 days in 100°F–113°F heat. The food spoiled, containers bloated and leaked, candles melted over boxes, and hygiene/medical supplies were ruined. • Violating Their Own "Anti-Scam" Guide: Flex's own marketing guide warns against low-ball estimates, day-laborers, broker behavior, and delayed deliveries—yet they committed every single one of these practices. Consumer Warning: Record every phone call with Flex, get everything in writing, and double-check all dates on your paperwork. All modified Bills of Lading, photos of the dirt lot drop-off, call transcripts, and third-party recovery receipts are currently being submitted to state consumer protection authorities and federal regulatory boards.
