ABSOLUTELY THE WORST! I regret ever looking at this company.. The sales guy was right on time and was great, but everything after that went south. They were able to schedule the install to replace my entire unit (compressor, furnace, heat exchange, everything the same day which was great. The installers were 2 hours late and didn't leave my house until 11:30pm. They informed me at the end of the night that they needed additional parts and to come back and test everything because something happened with their testers. On the day they were supposed to return (in the AM), I got a call from the tech mid morning saying he would be here between 1-3pm. Here we are at 4:30 pm and no tech. Earlier today, the cover (vent) for the furnace fell off the enclosure damaging my wall. I called customer service and they told me they had to reschedule today's visit to tomorrow. No phone call, no nothing! The worst thing about is, the blower in the furnace closet sounds like a freaking jet engine and I can't run it because it keeps everyone up at night, which is raising the temperature in my house to well over 90 degrees! Now customer service tells me that no one is available today. I fight them and they finally agree to send someone out but don't have an ETA! If this is not corrected in the next 24 hours, I WILL call my attorney and let him fight this joke of a company.

Goettl called me Monday night to schedule our “30 day” system review. I picked Tuesday 1-5 pm (I hate the 4-hour window). Tuesday came and went with no tech. To make matters worse we had friends come in from out of town who wanted to hang out. We called the automated system and were told our appointment was actually for Wednesday 8-12. I was mad, because I hate to have my time wasted but ok, one time, not a big deal. Wednesday morning came and went. I was upset. I called, they apologized and I said I understand but I would like to talk to a manager. An hour later a customer service tech called me saying the manager told them to call (By the way, if middle or upper management reads this, please help the manager find their balls. That was a ball less move). They said they made a mistake on Tuesday and set the appointment for Wednesday. They said the tech was running late and would be out 1-5. I was mad but okay. 8 PM, I get a phone call that the tech was still busy but they would try and get someone to the house by 10 PM. On a week night. Fully knowing most people work early the next day. I seriously feel like this was them trying to placate me and having nobody available to come at that time. They PROMISED me the supervisor would be out Friday morning to help me. Guess what? Yep, Friday morning comes and goes without even a courtesy call or notification. About 2:30 PM, I get a text that the tech is on the way. I felt it was a lie but I still told my wife to put the dog up and get ready for the tech. AN hour later, I received a phone call that the tech was delayed and would not be out until he finished up with what he was doing. By 6:45 PM, still no tech. I called and they said they would try and get another tech to come out. This is our experience. The worst part is we had two other companies wanting to do the install and I foolishly went with GOETTL. I feel that once they receive your money, you go to the bottom of their list. Please, please look at the other offers, as Goettl does not have good customer service and their promises are like a fart in the wind.

I have Goettl for many years. I upgraded to a tankless hot water system and reverse osmosis. I even put in a new filter system for the hallway which is suppose to collect more dirt and things. Had no problems getting the special filters at all reasonable price. Now there app has me order through a third party. The third party said they don’t carry due to not common in use. He stated he would get back with Goettl. No one from Goettl called. I spoke to a manager and brought up about the filters. He stated he would look into it. No call back weeks later. A tech came out and told him about the filters. No call back. Tech came out four days ago for annual inspection. Found a fan problem. High price paid to replace. Suggested another repair interest free for a year. I did not take it. Everything checked fine and now the AC will not work. Being from Phoenix and 107 degrees outside called. Best they could do was in two days. I pay a monthly membership that doesn’t appear to mean much. More than covers the annual inspection cost. I told them the cooling was not working. They admitted that was an emergency, but still could not get out for two days. I spoke to another AC guy I was referred to. He states he was pretty sure it was the refrigerant. More than likely from the tech bleeding it off during the inspection. It worked before they inspected and did not find an issue. I’m waiting to see what repairs they want to charge me. I’m taking my business elsewhere. I no longer trust the company. Always telling me I need a new unit. So when the guy suggested a part replacement that might go out, I told him, why would I invest in something that you tell me needs replacing. How the answers change. Used car salesmen each and every one.

OMG DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! they are all crooks. They do not have real technicians working for them, they are ALL SALESMEN!

I had nothing but issues with Goettl's installation of ductwork. I kept calling Goettl to report issues, and they would come out and tell me everything was fine. I wrote the owner and managers asking for help, and all they would do is send some kid out to tell me everything was fine. It wasn't until I filed a complaint at the Nevada State Contractors Board that they admitted the installation was bad, ripped everything out, and started over. Had I not filed a complaint at the NSCB, I would still be lied to. The new installation has issues. They sent new people to install, two men said they got sick and vomited, and had to leave for the day. When Goettl said they were done, I said great, I will call the City of Las Vegas Building Department for an inspection, and Goettl said they needed to come back to do more work after they said they were done! Everyone I told what happened told me they also had issues with Goettl. Goettl lied to me for two years until I filed a complaint at the NSCB that they admitted they were liars and the work was bad! I have more to explain but you get the idea. After they replaced the ducts, I still have problems. Goettl came out a third time and said I needed it replaced a third time, but a woman in the main office said to wait until the floors are in before they come back. Yes, that is what they said. In the meantime, I have three HVAC companies come out to look at the system, I did not tell them what I have been through and they said this is a mess. I can't post photos as they are incompatible. But the duct work is wrapped around wood beams and there are many issues. This is what one company said after inspecting: Performed inspection of hvac system and ductwork. Sytem is improperly designed, too many returns were added. Static pressures were unrecognizable. The system has a 2018 R410 A condenser which is no longer being produced equipment 2025 last year and refrigerant is being phased out by 2030. The design done to this duct system will never work. In my 27 years of experience i have witnessed a lot of mistakes on other installs not performed by us., this is in my top 5 worst. There will also be additional drywall repairs to fix due to improper returns duct system is set up like a poorly installed commercial building and is pulling more air in than it can push out'[R6 ductwork was used, when R8 is what most contractor use especially on new builds. The evaporator coil is the wrong type plenum coils that a supply plenum is being used, needs to be Cased coils with supply box. The original return needed to be upsized is what we suspect and new design for the R8 duct system would consist of more individual runs [called home runs] That is what all three said. Stay away from Goettl

They do not do it the right way! Don’t believe the commercials. Goettl has to have the worst customer service in the industry and I have a maintenance plan. When you call them to leave a message, no one calls you back. When you send emails, no one responds. They install wrong parts then have to find the right parts, and still you can’t get updated with when your problems with your HVAC will be completed. Supervisors don’t respond to your concerns, and their tech teams are the worst I have ever experienced in my lifetime. I have been battling with getting fixed “the right way” ever since I signed up with their maintenance plan. They don't even deserve 1 star, but you have to choose at least 1 star to post a review.

Do NOT use this company for plumbing. Do NOT sign up for the monthly maintenance plan. It is a scam. I had an emergency plumbing issue and Goettl was the first company available to come to my house. I signed up for the monthly plan over the phone because I was told I could cancel at any time. HOWEVER, this is not true. You actually agree to a 2-year commitment and if you want to cancel, you pay a significant cancellation fee. We had roots in our pipes, so I agreed to the service. I am now in-debt for 2 years because I opted for the financing program. Due to the excessive price quote for pipe repairs, etc., I got a second opinion for fixing the damage from the roots. My second quote was almost half the cost of Goettl. The second company showed us inside the pipes with their camera and reported damage much less significant than Goettl claimed. This company is only out for your money. I will say, at least the actual technicians are very professional.

I tried to cancel my membership but i cannot because they said it was a two year contract. I did not know it is a contract upon signing. Please ask before you sign up. They dont really do much maintainace work they jst look for things for you to spend on. My house is brand new and they already found 500 dollar work of work on my ac unit. They say you will get member discounted prince for services, but they dont. They want to charge me 211 dollars for tankless water heater flush, if you call other plumbers, it cost less than 200 without membership. Don't get fooled by this company like i did!
