A greedy disgusting company who is money hungry and will mess up your credit at a drop of a hat with little to no basis. Should be bankrupt. They were paid 90% of a loan for a vehicle and still put negative hits on credit while insurance took one day over due date to pay them the money. Refused to take it even after loan was paid in full. POS pariahs.

Do not lease a vehicle through this company. I have leased 3 vehicles through them and thought everything was ok. The end of my last lease was during the height of COVID so I conservatively decided to not lease another vehicle immediately preferring to wait and see about doing so during recovery. I take very good care of all of my cars and had never before faced any financial penalties as lease return. Imagine my surprise when this time I found I owe a large sum of money and here is the kicker. They entice you to do business online or in their terms "paperless" but I cannot find any explanation online of why I owe them money. When you call you find that they have very limited business hours for people answering the phone. They have no real concern for customer service as evidenced by the fact that you can never get hold of anyone and even their chat feature is automated. Bottom line is if you decide not to lease another at end of term they will try to soak you for as much as they possibly can basically daring you to try and look into it.

In February 2020 gm financial took my car in the middle of night. They never sent a letter/notification of any kind informing me of their intent to come for the car. They came after only 2 months of non payment. My payments were delayed because of financial hardship but I was just about to come into the money I needed in a few days. When I got the money I had enough for the two past due payments and the repo fee. They refused to take just that. They insisted on also having the next due payment which was coming up in a few days. My car note was already high so imagine them expecting me to have the future due payment also. They absolutely refused to compromise with me over a payment that wasn’t due yet. I lost my entire car because of their greed. Since then I’ve had to rent cars and haven’t been able to be approved for another due to them putting this on my credit, let alone come up for air because I MUST have access to a vehicle to do my work everyday. I read reviews from people who’ve been A-1 customers with them and how they’ve treated them horribly. I would never have dealt with them as my finance company if I knew.

I had an autopay for paying the monthly fees. For some reason it ended on November and didn't pay the December. when I noticed this in January 7th, there were late fees accrued in the account. I tried to call the customer service, but got the obnoxious prompt of communicating through text message for over 18 minutes. Finally I gave up and chose this option. I sent a text message, only to receive a response in the next day from Danya requesting me to fill a secure verification form. When I clicked on the link my phone line immediately went into a lock and it stopped calling (dropping from half a ring) and not allowed to send any text message. Then Danya considered that she solved my concern and moved on. Now although I paid for December, it's not shown in the system, late fees still there and now I have a broken phone that I had to deal with. Absolutely terrible customer service. This is beyond terrible, although I worked for GM for over 6 years, and this is my second GM car, it's most definitely my last, including friends and family. What's even more ridiculous is that I tried to submit a complaint through the GM financial service, after finishing writing the complaint, it failed to submit and requested that I call them. The irony of that!

GM Financial is the worst. Their client-facing systems are totally wrong and filled with inaccurate information. Don't finance with GM Financial if at all possible. They include a $495 fee at the end of the lease agreement you have to pay if you don't buy another GM vehicle. That's not the big problem. We didn't but another car due to my wife and I both working from home. The problem is that they said they mailed us a final bill which we would have gladly paid but we never received it. Now they hit our credit report. Once we learned of the charge, we paid it. We've made 39 on-time payments and asking for forgiveness and they refuse to fix our credit. What a POS. There's no way for us to know that we owe this. They said they mailed a letter (for which we never got). They said they called my mobile several times. I checked my Verizon bill and there are NO CALLS from their phone numbers. This just feels punitive. Every call to their service center leaves us feeling like they're lying. How can we trust their systems if the what we see is wrong? When asking to speak to a supervisor, no one is ever available. Next step is to write a letter to their CEO to let them know how we feel as customers. This is a horrible way to treat people who have bought and owned GM cars their whole lives. GM Financial is the worst!

2nd auto lease with them, and just as poor customer service as the 1st. Never missed or late on a payment (auto pay), and yet, Reps are almost belligerent to even obnoxious and deliberately uncooperative on the very few occasions I needed to call for a question. Truly the reason I gave up leasing and purchased vehicle #3 outright.

They billed us $200.00 for a key fob that was returned at the end of the lease. I have emailed them with evidence of the return of both keys as has the lease end manager at my local chevy dealership, Neither of us have received a reply or corrected invoice. When I call the 800 customer service, they say they have no record of either email and put me on hold for 45 minutes until I get so frustrated I hang up. They never returned my calls! BEYOND HORRIBLE CONSUMER PROTECTIONS THAT THEY HAVE NOT CORRECTED THEIR MISTAKE.

Every part of my experience was terrible. Walked in with 7500 cash plus a trade in wanting to finance the rest. From sales to finance everything was bad. Everyone was rude and condescending like I didn't know what I was doing. Everyone had tricks up their sleeve. . Every time I need something or have a question they blow me off now. I literally walked out in tears feeling so screwed but I needed the car. When I asked while purchasing if I could get my first oil change free since the car was listed as "new" but had indeed 5k miles on it from it being a lease the finance guy said no, but if you want ill put you in a different vehicle (as a threat). Come to find out that was another tactic because all new cars get first oil change free! Everyone was so rude and so unhelpful and still are. They attempted to low ball me on every part of my transaction assuming because I'm female and think I am naïve, yet I guarantee I am smarter than almost every one that works in that building. I will NEVER EVER recommend anyone there and I will never return. This place put a bad taste in my mouth for all dealers sadly and moving forward I will pay cash for cars.
