Do NOT order from this company. They have been charging me monthly for product that I've never received and now cannnot get any response from them. Straight THIEVES!!

Not good.....no improvement whatsoever, it did not do what it's supposed to do which is fade dark spots. In fact, it appears to have gotten worse. I would never recommend this product.

Beware!! This company forces you to purchase a subscription! When you add a product to your cart, it will automatically add the subscription and there is no way to remove it! It then states that you are "choosing" to subscribe and will be charged $.95 for the first month and $14.99 after with the option to skip or cancel at anytime. Why do this in the first place?!? There is no way I should be forced into a subscription or it should even be placed into my cart without me selecting to do so! I really believe half of these reviews are from the company itself! The brightening facial moisturizer cream broke my face completely out! Too heavy!! You know what it worked well on, my butt! lol Which is why I want to purchase it again. It completely smoothed my butt out, so for that I am pleased and would recommend for that purpose. It’s a no for the face and a yes for the body! Either way I wont be purchasing it again if I cant do so without being forced into a subscription! Reply To Glo Melanin: I am editing my review and replying to Glo Melanin. Why put it in the cart in the first place?? I sent an email inquiring about this and stating this exact issue. I also asked how to remove the subscription from my checkout cart as I did not see an option to do so. I later received an email asking me to rate the response/feedback I received. I didn’t receive a response via email so I gave it a one star and explained that I never received any feedback. Later when I logged back into my account on your website to see if I was tripping and try to remove the subscription to purchase the brightening cream again (to use on my body) I saw that the feedback was sent via the website chat! That is ridiculous! Not only was it not sent via email (my original way of communicating) it also did not give me any instructions as to how to actually remove the subscription, which I asked for. Just the same generic response that it could be done from the cart before you move to the check out screen. This experience is highly disappointing! Stop adding the subscription to carts in the first place!!! Allow the customer to choose this option on their own! I also saw another review from a person who said the same thing! I know it is not only the two of us to have experienced this! I consider this a dark business practice/pattern! It’s unethical and deliberately confusing. You say it can be removed, but I have yet to receive clear cut instructions as to how to do so! Very frustrating!! This is exactly why I found a way to place a public review of my experience. In the end I ended up having to go ahead and pay the damn .$95 for a trial subscription that I didn’t want and went back in after the purchase to cancel it! Completely unnecessary steps! At the end of the day, I still wanted that cream for my butt that I like to show off in the summer (pool/beach) and privately with my man! I am happy with the those results which is why I will continue to buy it for that purpose! I also like supporting black business! However this issue needs to be fixed!! I bought 2 months worth of the cream, next time I come back to purchase I do not want to pay an extra $.95 then have to cancel the subscription! Don’t add it to my cart in the first place!

Wish I can give them no stars!They are scammers and thieves.The face soap is great but it’s their tactics they use to steal money from customers .They trick you into a $14.99 subscription or you can’t check out to get items and they do it unknowingly. Their customer service is basically nonexistent. Once they do respond to the email because that’s the only way to get in touch with them, they give you a scripted email stating they apologize and giving a store credit that is not accessible. This is still top tier robbery and everyone needs to continue to apply pressure reporting this scandalous company so they can be stopped!

Well first off I ordered a product it was ok. Then I noticed my account was being charged for products that I didn’t receive. When I asked they said I signed up for a subscription. I didn’t purchase the membership and why would I for trying a product for the first time. I was told I couldn’t get a refund for the last 6 months. However, I caught it in time and was refunded $14.00 for December. Then finally they told me I have a store credit of $104.00. So I am good with that. When asked how to claim the credit I was given all these different links and no response has been provided. I’m still waiting it’s been about 3 weeks now.

I ordered from Glo Melanin on 12/1/25 and still have not received my order. Wondering if this company is a scam. Very disappointed because I am trying to support Black owned 😢

I think the government should look into this scam of a business. You make a purchase once, then they keep billing you every month, they claim that you subscribed to monthly payment after the first buy. I don't think this is fair. It's so difficult to cancel subscription on their site. I think people should be allowed to buy as needed. If your product is that good, you shouldn't be tricking people into compulsory purchase like that. So much for patronizing a black owned business. It feels like a scam, and I personally don't see any improvements on my face after using the product. Stop tricking people into buying what they don't need.

Purchased on 11/21/25. Still no update. USPS still hasn’t received the items. Try to email the customer service team and get an automatic response that the team isn’t available on weekends…but it’s a Wednesday. Have sent emails before with the same result. Non responsive. First impression of this company…do better. Failing to deliver accurate turn around times, non responsive customer service, charges that I haven’t authorized and automatically enrolling customers into paid subscriptions to purchase 1 item and receive RIDICULOUS amounts of promo emails. This owner will not be around long and certainly may be involved in future lawsuits. Save your $ and save yourself stress/worry and shop elsewhere.
