Things went pretty well. I apparently didn't understand the shipping time / delay (one week from notice to post office receipt seems like quite a bit).

I do. I'll admit I was a little nervous about trying it, but the result was very satisfying. Not only did I save a lot of money, but I think the quality of the frames and lenses is very good. Global Eyeglasses provides online tools to help you "see" yourself with the various frames. Plus, you can even measure your PD online! If you're the type that needs immediate gratification, you may not be very happy about the time it takes to receive the product (almost 2 weeks), but the money you saved could help you get over it. Overall, I had a smooth transaction and would definitely consider buying glasses this way next time.

The glasses themselves are just fine, however the case they came in is inconveniently small, so one has to push on the earpieces to get the glasses in. Could you send me a larger case made to fit the Anthony 56mm glasses?

The ordered item has excellent quality.

This is the third pair of glasses I've bought from Global. Their prices allow me buy a fun, spare pair and still spend way less than I would have at my doctor's office (even with vision insurance!) I've told several friends about Global...they think I'm lying!

Problems with the delivery, but they helped me afterwards.

My eyeglasses arrived today 9/10/12, I ordered them on 8/9/12. The 1st delay was a question about my prescription, although they have it on file & have made me several pairs with the same prescription. Also, they waited until I emailed them to tell me what the problem was, instead of emailing me right away with the question. I love my glasses & the people responding to my emails were very prompt and helpful.
