When the glasses arrived... after 3-1/2 weeks, the frames did not look like what I thought I had ordered. I thought it was possible that I had made a mistake in placing my order so I tried to find the frames online again. It was impossible to navigate the web-site and find the frames I thought I'd ordered. I could find nothing on the invoice that was useful in finding the frames on their website. I most likely will not recommend this company or use them again. Next time I'll buy American!! Shame on me for thinking I would get a quality product for such a low cost... As they say, you get what you pay for!!

I ordered a pair of glasses, the lenses I chose were to small for a progressive prescription I received an email stating as such then before I could respond they were shipped. Needless to say I had to return them it cost ME $20 for shipping. Reordered glasses, they were sent DHL, not priority post, they are now sitting in Heathrow airport. I started this whole process in May it is now the end of August still no glasses, Am I happy, NOT, will I use or recommend this company, NEVER!!!!

I have been a customer of global eyeglasses for years, and have ordered several pairs of glasses from them. My last order was by far the worst experience I have ever had with this company. My emails did not get responses until weeks later, and their customer service phone number which claims to be open from 9am- 6pm EST, is not. I have called several times, only to be put on hold for 15-20 minutes and then have a recording come on saying that that extension is unavailable & to leave a message. I have left message after message on that number which have NEVER been responded to. I ordered 2 pairs of sunglasses on June 27th. As of July 14th, the glasses had not yet shipped. I called the customer service phone line several times, and each time I have called there was a different excuse as to why the glasses had not been shipped. I called after 2 weeks of waiting and first I was told that the glasses had not yet been prepared due to a high volume of orders at this time, and that she would do her best to have the order shipped within the week. Then I was told there was a hold put on the order for some mysterious reason, and that she would have the glasses shipped the next day. When I still received no word or email after 2 days I called again. Then I was told there was a defect in the lense and they had to redo them. When I asked, "Is there a defect in the lenses of BOTH pairs of glasses that I ordered?" she could not answer. I then asked, if the defect was only in ONE pair, could the other pair at least be shipped? I was AGAIN told that she would do her best to have the glasses shipped tomorrow. MORAL OF THE STORY: The glasses came over a month later and customer service was poor to say the least

I placed an order in June, didn't receive it until almost Aug. The prescription was wrong as well as the color frames i picked. The customer support said they would send me new lenses and a new set of glasses to make up for the mistake and would email me within 24 hours to verify the changes. Not only did they never email me but when I finally spoke to someone after trying for a week, they informed me they couldn't do that and I would have to send back the frames and wait again for them to process a new order. Now I have been without glasses for almost 3 months and they still want to charge me the full amount...

Ordered sunglasses, received plain plastic instead of tinted glass. Asked to pay for return shipping fee.

Delivery took 6 weeks, charged twice for the Transition lens option, unable to resolve via phone and email, as a last resort I filed a “Dispute Charges” with my credit card company. Was told three times someone will phone you back to resolve your issues with no return calls. This is the last time for me with this company.

Disappointed in the overall service and product. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone and won't order from there again!

I ordered my glasses about 6 weeks ago, and I have yet to receive them in the mail. I called customer service (which was outsourced) and it had no clue of how to trace the status of my order. I would pay a few extra bucks and use another site.
