The glasses themseves are quite decent, especially for the price. However, it can take a long time to get them. For the last order I called them some 5 weeks after palcing the order and wondering whre it was, only to find out it was not processed. I was offered to cancel, but told them I need the glasses. It took another two + weeks to finally get them. Also, hard to tell how well they will fit until you get them. So far i have 1/2 dozen glasses from them with mixed results. Do not get polarized sungrasses if you need byfocals. They do not make them, only progressives. Was not happy with high point of transition on the ones that I finally received.

Was very excited about the 100% guarantee; since you are not able to try on the frames and such. But that is where the friction is. Free shipping isn't really free shipping. Globaleyeglasses adds this into your cost, then subtracts it from your refund. So you actually pay two shipping costs, the one to return the glasses and the "free" one (which gets taken out of your 100% refund). The site is user friendly, and customer service very helpful and pleasant.

I was extremely angry with myself when my expensive prescription sunglasses fell off of my face while I was swimming in Lake Michigan. They cost me almost two hundred dollars, even with my insurance. I was glad to find this website so that I could order a prescription pair for a quarter of the price. The glasses were delivered on time and look great.

I ordered some glasses. They ended up looking nothing like the photo that I saw on their site. Same shape and everything, but the colors were very much different. Perhaps invest in some more realistic lighting in your photos?

Ordering my glasses was a breeze. The virtual try-on was fun and helpful. The site was easy to navigate. I was a touch apprehensive about ordering something like this over the internet, but decided to give it a shot. 14 days after my order, I called to check on them. I had never recieved any shipping information in spite of the fact that the web site promised that "most glasses are processed in 3 days". I was told that they were having equipment problems. When I voice concern (I needed these glasses for an upcoming trip), the rep said she'd put a rush on my glasses and they would be shipped shortly. I received a shipping notice the next day with tracking info. For 5 days, the tracking was "unavailable.". I called again and they said that the USPS system was having trouble and my glasses were out for deliver that day. I did receive them that day and they are wonderful. But it was a stressful process. Had the company been pro-active with contacting me ("Sorry about the delay, we had an equipment problem, your items are on the way", or "we've been notified by USPS that their shipping website is down. We'd like to assure you that your product has been shipped and will be arriving shortly") instead of waiting for me to call TWICE, this would have been a much better experience. But I suppose that the bottom line is that the glasses DID arrive in time and are perfect, so both my concerns were addressed. I just wish I hadn't had to call them to check so much.

I ordered my glasses so long ago I don't even remember when. I still haven't received them (maybe they'll be in the mail today). The first time I sent my prescription, they apparently didn't receive it. So after waiting a week, they finally sent me an email requesting the prescription a second time. After sending that again, it took at least another 1-2 weeks for tem to prepare the glasses for shipment. I'm in day 9 of the 7-10 day shipping. Here's hoping next time around things will go more smoothly.

I finally received my glasses and was so pleased with them and I was worried that I wouldn't like them. There so pretty and I feel great with them on. Only one problem both of the lenses had a scratch on them. Which made me pretty sad BC I waited so long to get them and knew there was nothing I could do about. I would love to give 5 stars but I wanted to honest. Hopefully I'm the only one who had this problem.

We are generally pleased with the glasses we ordered for our son, but we received a different color than we ordered and the arms are slightly bent. It took so long for the glasses to arrive (we live in Canada) that it's not worth sending them back to correct the color and bent arms, since my son doesn't have a spare pair.
